Hey guys (and gals), I experimented with admob a couple of years back, and although I was able to build a list very quickly- the list turned out to be low quality and never converted (not one). It was in the weight loss niche, and I had a blog set up that received over 1,000 organic hits every month. That's a tiny number but I didn't really do much SEO at all. I mainly used it as brand authority. Anyways, I was wondering if any of you are currently using admob, and if so, how are you using it, and how is it working? Are you using it for CPA offers, list building, or something else? I love paid traffic, and now that I have a little money to play with I want to get back into mobile ads as I find it to be effective and very cost efficient. Your comments are appreciated, thanks! Mobile traffic is very hard to understand. You can try promoting CPA ads for mobile in my suggestion.

with any good campaign you need to be tracking your stats. but with mobile marketing you really need to dial it down even more than other traffic sources. you need to be able to track the carrier, make, model, OS etc. are you doing this?

I've never really done this, no. I typically would just pick the types of phones I wanted to market to (smartphones) and that was it. |

I've run mobile in the past and it worked alright. I ran mobile email submits and used my own lander to presell the offer (and build my own list). It worked okay because the email submits are pretty general as far as demos that convert and the traffic was cheap, but overall it wasn't profitable to keep it going. Long story short, it worked, but didn't seem really long term. The list I built didn't do anything after the initial submit (as you saw). |

I've spent $8,000 per/mo with AdMob. What digital media are you using (apps, web, etc)?

I couldn't make it work and I was in a training from a network, OfferM____ and it looked like they were not having an easy time with it either. They claim that dating does the best but I lost money trying |

From what I've heard, Jumptap has more quality traffic than admob but with their price either. If you have money to spent for research I think Jumptap is worth to test
