Do you know those little ads across the top of your screen when you open some of your free apps? That is admob displaying advertisement. Admob is basically a platform that displays your ads through people's mobile phones. Google owns admob so you can display adsense, or you can choose to advertise like adwords does and pay per click. |

I am making $25-$40 per day with Admob in an Android app as a publisher. If you are using it in an app make sure you enable Adsense ads to display also in your app. It gave me a good bump in earnings just by checking the box. Are you asking about using it in an app or on a website? (They moved Admob for web to Adsense Mobile) Or is this a question about being an advertiser on Admob. |

If you are having success on AdMob and are looking for CPI mobile campaigns, PM me with your email! I have a lot of mobile game apps looking for more traffic and installs.

Actually, I was wondering about inside apps and on mobile web....but mostly inside of apps. Are you developing your own apps or finding other people to let you advertise in their apps?

Some of the mobile banner networks allow you to publish both in your apps and on websites too. A month or so ago Admob pulled mobile web publishing though and moved it to AdWords. Now Admob is only for apps which really is better because Admob isnt really contextual, it is display advertising. You can target categories but that's as close as it gets. If you have any questions let me know and I will do my best to answer them. | |

Admob is a pain in the a**! Have you ever created a campaign there as a advertiser? They charge extremely high CPC for advertisers but pay out very low CPC for the publishers. If you take a closer look you may find a better way to convert your traffic instead of letting you rip off by these traffic ad networks.

I never heard of Admob until now. I thought maybe it was like Adsense but maybe I am wrong and it's not. I would use it if I know I could set it up similar to other ad programs where I can make money, but if not I wouldn't.

It will not be long I think before admob and adsense(adwords) are combined. If you try to sign up with admob now, they want your google login info. Update: I just checked and according to admobs website: After August 31, your admob and adwords accounts will be one and the same. I wonder what effect this will have on mobile advertising? |
