How to get customer to massage therapist?

I'm trying to get mobile marketing business to a local massage therapist. They don't want to give me the old customers record for mobile marketing (text messaging) until I bring at least 10 new people in. The have special offer for $69 Thai-Swidish massage 60 minutes + Free 60 min European facial which I could to use in text messaging. Any suggestions on how to get them customer fast without breaking the bank?

Build a landingpage (+mobile friendly) on a keywordrich domain, put a contactform on it and start ranking it with the long tail keywords. Put out a few articals on directories and you will get visitors. Also use the offer to collect data. Something like; sms "special" to YOUR SMS provider. Deliver a few flyers around local with QR code and landingpage. Even if he doesn't become a customer you build a leadgen. to bring in other clients ;)

This will cost you the domainname and time ;)

Thanks for you answer. I tough about building website for that, I wasn't sure if I should do just one for massage therapy alone or a directory web for more local deals. (don't mind to spend money on that). But that's for the longer run, isn't it? it's still great idea, because maybe then I could sell it to the highest bidder instead of limiting myself to them. But, they give us only a month to see if we can get them new clients, could that alone work?

Just start it out for your client. Its yours, so you can always turn it into a listing page for massage offers ;)

But DONT SELL if its ranking high, rather charge a monthly fee and keep in charge of it.

I am actually a brand / marketing manager for a massage therapist here in my city. What we do is a combination campaign. It will be very difficult to drive people in on a $69 offer. Especially with massage envy franchises all over for $38.00. If you want to rock it even with a massage + facial combo your better off with Facebook, Twitter and good ole fashioned flyers. I have seen a great response off yard signs as well.

You could setup a mobile funnel like this as well ....

Facebook fan page ---> Viral Facebook App offering some coupon ---> Coupon --> Invitation to Enter Contest for Free Massage & Facial spa day.

What would happen is you would get a few hundred women entering the contest trying to win the facial, and then auto drip them invite only coupons on the new special and facial for $69. You would then have a list and system you can sell to other practitioners in the area.

Facebook fan page sound like a great idea. I started a fliers and sms for "win a free Euro Facial" the same like you think, get them hook on something for free and then offer them some non-winner discounts. It's also easier for me to pay the $69 for the winer when I get subscribers from the campaign. And with that starting to think about Youtube as well. That may work. Thanks again. Going to work on it right now.

I hope you find what you're looking for. In my experience, SMS does not work well for short-term campaigns for new business. Long term, it certainly works. But you asked for quick.

If you're using a U.S. short code, you cannot add their existing customers' phone numbers and start sending commercial messages to them. They need to specifically opt in, or your client will get fined and you will too.

I hope this doesn't bring you down. Keep working hard, you'll find the way.

wouldn't be enough if you use existing customer just give them option for opt out: like STOP to cancel?

Just a newbie who doesn't know about backlinking to much yet...

Guys, instead of talking about and quoting the spam posts you keep on seeing, why don't you click on the little red triangle next to that post and report it as spam. The mods cannot delete the posts unless you tell them about it. This is a community so you need to play your role in that also.

Logically, yes. Legally, no.
