Think of any business that you need in a pinch. Tow truck, plumber, locksmith are a few. Another tactic is something that you wouldn't want to do at home on your family computer: divorce attorney, therapist, certain doctors... |

Imagine that you are driving around (or walking, on the bus, etc) and you see a _________ (type of business). You wondering what their menu/services are priced at. You pull up their website on your phone to see what they offer. Whatever business you can fill in the blank, above, that's the type to go after. Dentists, realtors, medical clinics, chiropractors, day spas, salons... basically any type of business with walk-in traffic is a good prospect. Keep in mind that there will be people who "get it" and people who don't. I believe in educating your prospects but don't waste too much time trying to convince people they need a mobile site if they don't get it. Believe me, it's not worth your time. Just get out there and the more people you talk to, the higher your sales are going to be. Hope this helps. All the best, Suzanne |

Los Angeles is a big city but I will mostly target the OC area near LA because theme parks, hotels, restaurants,... are searched by visitors with their mobile, I m skeptical about locksmith, tow truck because when you have a problem on the road or freeway there are many emergency phones, you also have GPS directory, and other phone directory. You don't browse a tow truck mobile site to find what they offer, you call and talk for more convenience. So I heard these mobile marketers saying the same business all the time and it makes me laught, I met these locksmiths, tow truck, plumbers.... they have little to no interest on mobile website. What they promote is phone number.

Think things like restaurants, bars, clubs, hotels, bowling alleys, parking stations, city tour buses, etc. | |
