Anybody tried/trying Turnkey Mobile Marketers?
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Hey My Fellow Warriors,

I saw this offer in the WSO section. It's a whole mobile marketing solution website that gives you the whole shabang-a-bang.

It gives you a website and all the sales content, with videos, branded with your name or logo,,, and a SMS texting platform,, I think they use twilio. But, everything is all set up. I mean, really,, it has everything. (at least for a sales site, mobile site templates, sms platform) and you can manage it all from the site when you buy.

It "seems" pretty dang cool. I just wanted to see if anyone here has tried it. Here's the wso link:
SMS MARKETING BUSINESS IN A BOX + CUSTOM MOBILE WEBSITES, CUSTOM FAN PAGES & CUSTOM TWITTER PAGES ( 1 2)
rkaiser5
And no,, i'm not an affiliate
Let me know,, thanks,

Robert X

Robert, have you tried this out? It does look pretty cool and i did some quick reading up on it. Is it really 9.99 a month? Or is there a buy-in?

Thanks

Yes Jewels,

I couldn't resist giving this a try. It is only $9.99 a month. You gotta buy your own domain though. Or,, they will host it for you for another $10 a month. (Not bad for $20 a month) And, if you wanna use the sms sytem for your clients, you gotta load up with "credits". You pay $45 for 3000 credits. Then you use the credits for you clients sms campains. But you can charge the clients whatever you like, far beyong the $45. (and the client probably won't use all the 3000 credits, unless thay have a list,, but u can always buy more, and they last forever)

Also, with this, you can either manage the clients sms campaign (Charge them whatever you like), or, you can charge them to "use" the system and they do all the sms texting they want, themselves. It even has videos that show the client how to use the system. They even supply phone numbers for the clients campaigns for $3mo. Again, you can charge the client more.

Or, if you want, you can just use this to capture leads that you send, (or employees send) to simply build mobile sites. And then you don't need to buy "credits".

It also offers Facebook and Twitter page building. You can seriously set up a full functioning biz in no time at all. I did it,, everything is done for you. I'm a lazy *******, so, I did have them set me up on my host and installed the logo and my brand throughout, even in the videos.

I removed link till things get situated.

Robert X

p.s. there's a lot more than I explained here

Robert,

I just had a look at your site and you need to be VERY careful. The video on your homepage is nothing more than a Google video that has been ripped from Youtube and had your logo added to the beginning and end of the video.

This is the original video on Youtube:

The way you have the video on your site at the moment is illegal. You can't just use other people's videos and stick your own logo at the beginning or end. The person who has sold you this has no right to be giving you that video however the problem is, if you get caught using that video how you are at the moment, it will be YOU who gets sued not the person who gave it to you.

I would remove that video immediately. The only way you can put it on your website is to embed the original Youtube video on your site -- nothing else.

So, would I recommend that WSO to anyone else? Sure as hell not after seeing that. It makes you wonder what else they have ripped off.

Looking into it right now, Will. I will keep you posted. You would think that a business going into such a massive production would do their homework. Also, I'm definitely not the first to buy this thing. I have emailed the support to see what they have to say.

So, would removing the branding from the video would make it ok, right? I've seen that same video on many other sites,, not branded of course.

Removing the branding alone does not fix the problem.

It is someone else's video so you can't just use it on your website without express permission from them.

If you have seen it on other websites it is likely all they have used is the Youtube video embedded like I have above. Any other use of that video would be illegal.

Hey Robert. I did in fact try TurnKeyMobileMarketers. I was so stoked after trying a couple other so called Business-N-A-Box. TKMM seemed to have it all and the price was shocking low. I felt it was the most bang for your buck.

After downloading their WP ready made template where all I had to do was install I hit a bump. So I emailed support. No response for 3 days so emailed again. No response after 3 days so emailed again. Same results. By now all the wind had blown out of my sales so I emailed the payment processor. They said they would contact TKMM. Finally after a week they said they contacted them and their response is that they were trying to contact me. All a bunch of BS.

I canceled my membership and got a refund.

If you look into the TKMM V.I.P. Forum you will notice their administrator hasn't even made a post in 5 months. It's like someone just left the lights on and walked out.

I would have loved for this site to have worked. It seemed like the easiest way to get started, looked very professional, and had everything. But with no support, what good is it. I told all this to the payment processor that someone who really cares should buy this site and run with it. They're sitting on a gold mine there and no one is minding the store.

Good luck.

Robert. I just now checked out your site. I'm shocked once again as I did not know that this was Google's video. You have done nothing more than what TKMM says which is to rebrand the video and put it on your site. And from what WillR is saying this could cost you dearly. This also makes me wonder about the other high quality videos they supply that are also on your site.

Actually,, they did it.(the video branding) And surprisingly, the techs and I were emailing back and forth as they put it together. So, I was able to at least talked to someone.(I didn't do a thing, they did everything) I hadn't had any problems, as of yet, not even used the site yet, but I was thinking how cool it was that they were so quick to respond.

And yes,, it seems like such a massive production to just let alone. It's a very cool set up, I really agree that they have a goldmine. I always test products that I buy, so, I have been preparing to launch this program. I definitely plan to test the support. And I may have the video reinstalled as the youtube video that it is. I would think everyone would want a system like this. I'll be the guinea pig and letcha know.

Rob,

I really wouldn't play around with things or delay removing that video. It's not worth it -- I see you still have it live on your website.

Now this thread is live on the Internet, whoever owns that video can now see you are aware of the problem so if you do nothing about it you could end up in hot water.

Will,

The site is sitting idle, meaning, I'm not using it in any way other than it's live. Let me ask you this, can I embed a video in the same way if it's a plr video? There's a lot of videos out there that are plr videos and I believe rebrandable.

I do have your video. Can I embed that one? Also, is there a way to make my site "un-live" ? Is there a way to temporarily put it on hold till I get this straightened out? I', gonna email them right now and have them embed it in youtube form.

Ok,, I'm waiting for them to respond now. I will let you know. Gotta go now. It's a beautiful day here in North San Diego, Cali, baby! Time to ride my bike on the beach and wait for a response.

Ok Will,
I got them to change it to the original youtube style video (no more branding).I guess it really doesn't need the branding,, after all, it only lasts for 2 seconds anyway and my name is above the video anyway.

Rob,

I hope they didn't supply you with that video since it is one of my ones. It's your own copy correct?
