mobile site creator

hi i'm tony chiu and i'm a newbie here :)

I just want to ask that if there is someone who already tried Wirenode in creating mobile a site? I just want to hear from someone about this site before trying it myself..

Thanks! :)

From first inspection their sites look very amateurish and 1990's. Kind of like a mobile version of those old outdated sites you used to see when the Internet first began that looked like they had been created in Microsoft Word.

I think you could do better.

Don't know that one -- but after trying a lot of them I decided on FiddleFly and I'm really happy with my decision!

WillR's software is excellent also! It's very stable and the forum is awesome for help! Will is personally very helpful, too.

I just like a more WYSIWYG format. The coding makes my eyes blur! LOL!

Make sure you stay away from that one. It is as buggy as hell and was a complete flop when it launched last year. It's just a quickly put together PLR script (by Dylan Jones) that was resold by a ton of people and very poorly supported. The sites also validate VERY poorly and have a lot of problems with them.

Do NOT buy.

I've looked at loads of builders, tried them and even with wysiwig then can be a pain in the butt. Best thing is WillR's ^^^ mobile site templates. They are super fast to load up, validate and they are commented so well it's super fast and easy to edit them.

Not to jump on the band wagon but WillR's service is second to none, and with his pricing - I"m all in.

Top mobile site builders are WillR's and FiddleFly. WillR's uses php coding that's really easy to use and if you like the drag and drop approach FiddleFly is the absolute best.

Are you looking to build the mobile site for yourself? Or you looking for make money on it? Dudamobile is ok...but if you looking to sell them you need a different builder.

Re: mobile site creator

What I'm leaning towards is using Duda to create a super fast mockup demo that I send a prospect as an image to compare.

And then use Will's script to build it to the ones interested (and that pay!), or another script (suggestions anyone?) when I need a WP mobile site (so I can use different plugins that offer great features)

Anyone has tips on how to quickly turn the Duda mockup version into our own version? I don't like paying their high monthly fee for EACH site and have them host it on their server as well... I would use them otherwise as it's the fastest builder out there, even though it might not do the full job at times.

I found this forum researching dudamobile myself. I hate having to pay a fee but then decided with the right markup and the crazy fast turnaround time it was worth it. The reseller tool allows me to show a fully functioning mobile site and so far it works really good! People see it and fall in love. I've been on dudamobile for 5 days now but have sold 3 sites. I emailed all my current clients offering mobile and they are slowly biting.

I came across a mobile website yesterday that used dudamobile. I typed in their main web address and was redirected to the mobile site that was something like businesxyz.dudamobi.com.

It looked very unprofessional to me that way the domain had nothing to dow with the actual business.

I'm not sure if it's just because I am too close to all of this stuff and whether or not the average punter would notice... but I wasn't too impressed. If you can create sites with their platform and host them on your own domain, that's one thing. But if you need to host them on the platforms domain then it doesn't look great.

The average punter out looking to book a restaurant or buy a pair of shoes won't look at the domain, they don't go sniffing around like that.

I understand that but it's a lot more obvious on a phone. On the iphone the domain is right there in front of your face. When you type in a domain and end up seeing a domain that has nothing to do with what you just typed in, it can question the validity of what you are seeing.

It was just the impression I got when I came across this site I mentioned above.

Hi WillR,

Thanks for the dis-recommendation. I trust your word, it seems you have a lot to say on mobile stuff and I appreciate every bit on pro's and con's on this mobile builders ... so even a negative recommendation helps to build up my list of tools.

Thanks
Galahad

Yesterday I sold a mobile website to a customer. I had only 10 min to prepare so I went with dudamobile. It wasn't pretty to look at but my customer got the idea of a mobile site and now I will do the actual (paid) site with another tool. Until now I used WPMobilePro from Jason Fladlien but it has not enough possibilities build out of the box for me and the overall layout design isn't sooooo impressive.

Still looking ...

Best
Galahad

Hey Chiu
I have analyzed the services you suggested and didn't find anything interesting. The websites created with this online tool looks pretty old stuff, you can build a much better website. There are many other services that provides you pretty nice graphics and features, search for them, and if you knows a bit of coding you can even try HTML 5.
