Mobile Monopoly
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Hey all,

So about 18 months ago I bought Mobile Monopoly and lost about $150 implementing the b/s strategies that were taught in the course.

Since then I havn't been willing to trust any other Mobile course but I'm guessing things have changed since then and their are a few legit training courses out there now..

Anyone wanna drop a few program/course names my way?

Has anyone seen the new Adam Horwitz video of Mobile Monopoly v2.0? The video sounds good, and the price is only $47.00, but I'm sure there are upsells. Adam introduces something different combining a flash mob with a webinar, called a "mobinar". Before I spend a cent, I'd like to see some other opinions here. Thanks.

I too watched the video yesterday. Didn't purchase though so can't comment. It was a nicely done video though.

I had the same experience as footbag_man - lost more money with Mobile Monopoly then it brought me back. But I have to agree with WillR - it's a nicely done video and I am just thinking about buying it.

But I would like to have some more opinions on that and on the possibilities of earning money with it.

Thanks

You have seen the name WillR come up here by more than one person as the go-to person in mobile. He's one of the most honest and consistent people I know.

I bought his mobile template about six months ago, and I wish I had stayed away from my shiny object syndrome and just implement what Will teaches. It's the best mobile builder and best no BS training around.

Since I bought it, I've emailed with Will several times, and he is always helpful and honest. He has released a couple of companion products since the mobile builder, and they too are top notch. He's also promoted a couple of products to his list. Will isn't the kind of guy to jump on every single new launch that happens and promote the hell out of it for an affiliate commission. He is a person of integrity, and is one of the few "IM" folks I trust.

My point is, Will was on somebody's mailing list (like I was), took the 15 minutes to see the video, and passed. I can't speak for Will and don't know if this is his position, but it he went through that long ass video and didn't get it, that ought to tell you something.

I tell you who is going to get rich off of mobile monopoly 2.0, and that's Adam Horwitz and the affiliates that promote the heck out of this product. That much we know. The question is, if you buy that product, will you make money or lose money?

It is unwise to trust all you read on the internet.

Re: Mobile Monopoly
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Hello there folks, I too bought one in the past, the local Mobile Monopoly and hated it, so needless to say I wasn't expecting much, I agree the video presentation is pretty good, as we all know since it's a clickbank product we have the 60 day guarantee, so seeing nothing to lose I went in, mainly because I am sick and tired of Google and it's whims.

So anyhoo, the content inside is actually not bad, some of it is total BS, you can just see the filler content which I disagree with, if yo don't know what you are talking about, then don't talk about it Mr.Horwitz!

I say this because the program covers different strategies, everything from free traffic to Cost Per Call, App building (this he has no idea what he's talking about, so no real value there) but the crown jewel of this whole thing is PPC campaigns and Adsense on Mobile!

The whole new spin is about Mobinars (webinars on mobile) which I think it can have potential, however I don't see anyone listening to a mobinar for one hour, but I do see how this can be monetize.

I don't have any numbers to give you because I am just about to test it myself, went through all of the modules first and now I'm picking a strategy and on my way to implement, so I will be able to report back.

Yes there are upsells, that much you should expect on any Make Money program, but the upsells are actually pretty good, they are more tools than anything.

If I hate it like the first one I'll just ask for my money back, but so far it's pretty good, we'll see once I start running some campaigns.

Hope that helps you guys in any way.

PS: Yes that link in my signature is my aff-link, and no I am not biased because of it, I am giving you my honest opinion, (the good and the bad) we are marketers so we market and I do believe this has potential. So if you do get in it would be nice if you use my link! =)

David,

Affiliate links are not allowed in this forum so I suggest you remove it asap.

You don't want to lose your signature privileges.

I really don't see people watching webinars on their mobile phones. I don't get that.

I've purchased Mobile Monopoly 2.0. There are multiple upsells.

But, the original offer is made available for $7 once you try to leave the page. The first upsell is $47 instead of $97 if you decline it, but parts of the offer are left out when you do that.

Same idea with the second upsell, but I still didn't go for it.

There's a lot of decent training material and resources that are great if you're new to mobile marketing.

It describes free and paid methods for driving mobile traffic to CPA and affiliate offers.

I'm still working through the training, so can't comment on the effectiveness of these methods. They sound promising, but I am a mobile rookie.

I did the same thing but then bought local mobile monopoly and still have local customers to this day paying me. I think that mobile monopoly was ahead of it's time. Adam made it out sound so easy to make cash with it.

I was just watching his vid yesterday (mobile monopoly 2) and I was wondering about whether people would watch a webinar on their phone. esp given data charges (unless they've got wifi).
The thing I would like some feedback on is this:
1 - the dude gives away 3 ready made webinars but maybe it would be better to make up some new ones that are unique.
2 - do you think people would be more inclined to watch a short (up to 10 mins)
infomercial rather than a big long thing.
3 - what are your thoughts on content delivery once a sale is made.
a - direct to phone (maybe video content)
b - can you push content to a pc (I suppose you could just send to email and they can grab it however they want)

Would love to know your thoughts.

thanks in advance for replies

I bought all the upsells for mobile monopoly 2.0 and the webinars are very elementary, you can check them out yourself. Not what I thought they would be at all, maybe for a newbie they would seem better, but I won't build a list with them..... If you build your list on sending people to these free webinars presentations this is their first impression of you. The gyst of it is to squeeze page capture email send them to supposed live presentation when they get home...........
You can check it out with the $7 deal when u try to leave downsell. If you do like it you can still do the upsells later with the link he sends you in an email, at least that is how I did it but i paid through paypal though....

I really hate those offers that give you an instant discount when you attempt to leave a page. They are credibility destroyers for sure.

I totally agree. Reminds me of an old market from my childhood where the sellers used to chase us offering a discount... cheap, very cheap...

Been getting a lot of stuff about Mobile Monopoly. Thinking about buying too and then I saw your post. Well, there really is no get rich quick program, I guess. Better try the traditional, proven and successful methods.

I bought MM 2.0. So far i've learned a lot. It's basic and I'm a newbie. It has given me some great ideas to pursue. On a separate note. Adam has live trainings......He introduced some dude named sam. who then passed the screen off to Joseph and Adam (Not Horowitz) it was a bad sales pitch, but seemed genuine. It was for a software product. (Bot) that is called CPAGREED. Has anyone heard of it or used it. They show Money being made as they are presenting. I think it's BS, but I have to wonder why Adam Horowitz would promote these guys if it wasn't at least partially legit. He makes to much money on his own stuff to risk his reputation on BS. So I am new and confused.

Bob, I agree. I watched the Adam Horwitz hosted/sponsored presentation for the CPAGreed product and it simply felt wrong.

During the presentation's Q&A session, 4 times I asked exactly how their software was supposed to be sending traffic to whatever site you targeted. I got no response, even at the end of the presentation when they had run out of questions and were asking for more.

Having done some CPA affiliate marketing myself, it was completely unbelievable that in less than an hour, from completely non-targeted traffic, 40 people would sign up for their CPA offer (which didn't even offer any incentive like a free iPad or whatever.)

My feeling is that the money they (allegedly) made from the CPA "signups" during the live presentation was simply staged.

They had 40 people sign up for the CPA offer in less than an hour. It would be easy to set up 40 different free email accounts, or simply pay people at Fiverr to sign up for a free CPA offer between the hours of 10 and 11pm.

This led me to wonder if the CPA network CashTrackz they were using in the demo would later reject the sign-ups if they all came from the Philippines.

But then, today, I filled out the application form as an affiliate for CashTrackz and got my confirmation email which came from.... CPAgreed.com (the same company selling the $997 product on the webinar.)

So, apparently, CashTrackz is owned by these two guys doing the webinar (which makes sense if, indeed, Adam "Banks" was really a CPA Affiliate Manager for years as he claimed -- perhaps these guys just realized they could make even more money owning their own CPA network.) But in that case (owning the network) it would be ultra-easy to generate the onscreen clicks and sign-ups.

And if they do own CashTrackz, it would also be easy to fake the $16,400 in commissions they supposedly made that same day from sign-ups for a $100-per-signup payout for the on-line gambling offer.

Unfortunately, the CashTrackz.com website has lots of dead links and no information about the owners or history of the company. A "whois" search shows that the domain ownership info is hidden. And virtually nothing shows up for CashTrackz when you do a Google search for them. (Odd, when you consider that their website claims 1-billion-clicks per month and claims to have major clients like Groupon and WalMart.)

The fact that no disclaimer was made during the webinar that CPAGreed was actually linked in some way to the Cashtrackz CPA network is disturbing. It looks as if they're trying to build some affiliates for the CashTrackz CPA network by selling $997 training packages. Or maybe not. It's hard to know how much of CashTrackz is actually real.

Like you, Bob, I wonder why Adam Horwitz would risk his reputation by getting involved with these guys if they're not completely transparent. Was he taken in by them?

With so many unanswered questions, it will make me suspicious of any of Adam's future offers.

You were probably watching an automated 'LIVE' webinar. A lot of those guys use them nowadays. You sign up and are lead to believe you are attending a live webinar but it's nothing more than a scheduled replay.

Good point, Will.

However, in this case, it actually was a live presentation. They did respond to a different question I had on a different topic.

Will, as others have already pointed out in this thread, your mobile marketing course and followup materials are superb! Plus, you don't spam your customers with worthless offers after they're on your list.

I wish everyone followed your high standards for integrity.

Thanks for showing us how marketing should be done.

Thank you for the info. I have been reading this thread as I was half convinced it was worth buying, but my gut feeling is 'no deal' .......as the saying goes:

'Something stinks in the state of Denmark'.
