Not sure if this is the right place to ask this. Is anybody using Mobile Marketing XT? This is for building mobile websites. It's being promoted by Mario Brown.

WillR, I've been looking at your website in a box and trying to compare yours to theirs. I've sat through their videos and they make it look easy. (of course) Other than the one that is on your sales page showing a finished site. Do you have any demo videos? I'm not able to PM yet. I like your materials and your contributions to various topics here on WF.

First thing: The appearance of the website is not impressive, it looks just OK. Another thing: I tried to access the site over my smart phone and it shows page not found error and it doesn't show up.

I've have been doing my due diligence (prior to purchasing Mobile Marketing XT), and so I spoke with Angela Moore of SixDegreesSEO out of Tucson. If you recall, her's was a case study business presented in the MobileMarketingXT webinar. The response from Angela (college educated in marketing, and a successful mobile site developer and marketer) is a strong support of Mario's and Brian's good work, their training and over-delivery. She attributes her flowering success to their training. She has known their work for years, and strongly endorses them. She has used the XT software since first establishing the mobile arm of her business, and is very pleased with both the results and ease of use. She even gets positive recognition from other mobile marketers about her mobile sites. Her only caveat is that once purchased, we need to do the work. So, overall, I am pleased with the feedback; and I hope it proves helpful to you in your decision-making. Take good care, Malcolm Dayton fulliving |

I too have looked into purchasing the Mobile Marketing XT system because I have a few issues with understanding coding and I would like everything to be copy and paste or drag and drop - in other words easy for a Newbie to use. I even sat thru the first webinar and asked a few questions, the replies I felt were satisfactory... During the webinar I found the system seems to be pretty good, however; prior to purchasing it would have been nice to allow potential purchases the ability to trial the program before making a final decision. The other aspect of this program that I am not a big fan of is the Monthly $10 fee per mobile website - or at least this is how I understood it in the webinar (as did another person earlier in this post). Attendees of the webinar were told that this fee is used for future program updates. I would have preferred to have (say) a 12 month period of free upgrades while they remove any bugs etc, then allow users to decide if they want to pay for future upgrades. Instead of being committed to paying a monthly fee... Sure, the way around this is to have a client pay for Hosting in your CPanel and charge this fee (and more) back to the client, however; not everyone will require a Mobile Website Developer to provide hosting, then; if you do sell the website you are then required to pay the monthly $10 fee... I am not sure how to pass this onto a client if they request exclusivity to the Mobile website? Finally, I have used a number of mobile website developing software programs, some of which have been purchased here in the Warrior Forum. My personal preferance for basic mobile website design software is the Mobi-O-Matic V3 system because it is easy to use and you still have the ability to add your own code if you have to. I am also interested in finding out what others think of the Mobile Marketing XT system. Regards Dean. |

Hmmm, well the key is my client loved it, the site is a one page mockup, Let me say as one of your customers I love your lead capture system and I am not a sensitive guy so your opinion of the simple site won't break my bones.. I will try to answer some of the other questions, Geez I don't want to get a wee wee contest here just trying to help

Am I the only one that noticed the Mobile Marketing XT program is nothing more than a reseller of Lime Cellular? Mind you I think Lime is a great program, but I really have an issue with the XT folks trying to pass it off as "theirs". IMHO that's deceptive. Check out Limes site for yourself and you'll see I'm right.

Cool stuff. I wasn't actually trying to say my mobile template is the answer to everything. By no means. I always tell my members that you should have a bunch of solutions at hand because you can then service your clients much better. There are so many mobile website builders and templates out there, most have their good parts and most have their bad parts. That's why I think having a bunch of different tools is the way to go.

Variety is the key. Don't set yourself up with only ONE way. I used the knowledge from all these men and women to fly outta the gate. (Like Seabiscuit) I took it all in and let it all out like a giant fart that blew people away,, ok ,, 1 guy so far, but it was a good deal and only my 1st email. 1200 samoleans + monthlys. (is that a bad metaphore? the fart thing?) Robert X

I agree it's a good idea to have more than one solution. I also think Will's course is worth getting even if you choose another mobile builder, it's good mobile education. Next I need to get that little red snapper

The Webinar is so evasive its BS. I asked 2 "Big Shots" (The ones who sent me the links) if there was a monthly fee. They both said NO - One payment and you're done. So I sign up and almost instantly you need a CC to sign up because phones are changing all the time and the $10 per Mobile site keeps it current. Sneaky... |

But any company that needs to come to a forum and talk to themselves to pretend they have happy customers must be struggling a little for business. They even used the same IP addresses for all accounts and tried to say they didn't realize what they were doing. Shame shame shame. I would stay well away from Pijnz as a result -- even if it were a decent mobile builder.

Mario and Brian are great guys. They truly stand behind their products and bring great value to internet marketers. Seeing them branded as being dishonest for rebranding a WHITE LABEL product is disheartening and obviously far from the truth. Obviously if you resold the same products to your clients you'd be rebranding them under your company's name - they are just operating at a higher level, which allows the WF / IM community to benefit. I'm not sure if they are still offering the Mobile Marketing XT product anymore. I think they have pulled it under the umbrella of their Mobile Biz Box solution, which you really need to look at as more of a group buy than anything else. Their MBB is around $150/mo and it's great deal when you understand what you are getting and IF you have the business to support it. Included with their Mobile Biz Box is a white label (which you can rebrand) SMS platform, Mobile Website Builder, App Builder, and Advanced QR Code Generator/Tracker. After seeing their webinar and several other products in the past I can tell you that their SMS Platform is definitely provided by Lime Cellular (they previously used AvidMobile but Lime is better in a few key areas especially coupons and billing). Their Premium Website builder (aka Mobile Marketing XT) is also provided by Lime Cellular who actually white labels it from Pijnz. Their App Builder is from Bizness Apps. I'm not sure who their QR Generator/Tracker is from but it does some incredible things like passing on the gps location and device info when the qr code is scanned while keeping detailed analytics data of each code. Lime's cheapest plan is currently $147/mo and it includes 3,000 messages/mo with each additional credit costing 1.9 cents. MBB gives you 2,500 messages/mo plus 1 cent. MBB also gives unlimited keywords, Lime's Premium website builder (provided by Pijnz), Lime's billing feature, and the ability to add sub agents. To get Lime's 1 cent price point and all these features on your own you previously needed to be on their top tier plan at $497/mo. Lime currently allows you to buy the individual features (unlimited keywords, mobile, billing, agents) for $35/mo each. However, you still need to be at the $397/mo level for 1 cent pricing. This alone makes MBB an incredible deal (if you are in the market for these services). I don't know for sure but I heard's Bizness Apps white label is around $299/mo for 5 active apps (MBB gives 3 plus $20 for addt'l) but even if it's not MBB pricing for the SMS component alone is well worth it. And who knows where the QR generator is being sourced from?...But the way that it's setup there's definitely a monthly fee from somewhere that you don't have to worry about using their MBB "group buy" solution. I'm all for buying onetime payment solutions and I avoid monthly payments as much as possible but I recognize value when I see it. Mario and Brian have hit a home run by combining Mobile Websites with SMS, QR codes, and Apps, while brining it at less than the cost of SMS alone. Their closest competitor would probably be brick & mobile but their prices are much higher and they don't include apps as far as I know. Their are several ways to beat monthly pricing on Mobile Websites. WillR's script and EZMobileSiteGenerator here on WF are a couple that come to mind. However unless you use a Twilio solution you are likely to have to pay monthly for SMS and probably a decent App Builder too. At a certain point you have to ask yourself if the cost savings is worth it vs having several well built (and supported) tools in one place that will allow you to make money as fast as possible...but you can only judge that for yourself. |
