Building on a .mobi

Hi there,

I recently purchased an iphone games related .mobi domain and would like to build the equivalent of a MNS blog monetised with Adsense and Amazon affiliate products, but I'm not even certain if this can be done. As a total newbie to mobile website development and marketing, I'm somewhat stumped as to where to begin. I've seen some of the mobile website builders like Pijnz com and Octomobi, yet I'm unsure if these platforms allow adsense and the information available isn't particularly clear. I've read threads elsewhere where they suggest that this be done with Word Press and plugins?

Edit: Is there any value in the thought of creating a WP blog and turning it into an app with something like Wiziapp?

What would you suggest?

Yes this is very possible with a select few Mobile CMS systems out there. I encourage you to explore what is out there. Great features such as RSS and Google Adsense baked into the Mobile CMS is a huge value add.

I tried to turn one of my wordpress blogs into a mobile site by installing a mobile theme and registering it at appgeyser and there were quite a few downloads at the beginning. I'm sure there are much more sophisticated methods of doing it , this was just my experience.
