Let's say you are starting from square one with mobile marketing. Let's also say that you don't have much money but you have lots of time as you are unemployed. You have a hard time selling, but you are great at designing and programming. What do you do? :confused: |

Go it alone: Churn out stupid little apps (talking avatars! farts! broken glass! pin the tail on the photo of your ex-girlfriend!), spend some time promoting them online in hopes that one goes viral for a while. Use that success to either run mobile ads or heavily promote a paid app from within the free one. Or just get a job... mobile developers are in demand and you can easily get six figure pay in NY or the SF bay. Unemployment rate for professional software developers is 3-4%, which is below what's considered "full employment" (everyone that wants a job has one, there's always a few percent that are temporarily between jobs / relocating). |
