What do you think are the best ways to earn money over mobile channels? How would you do it? Thanks!

Best way is to start off with a mobile website as many businesses need a mobile website. Once you are able to secure the deal and you deliver a solid product you can up sell QR, SMS and Apps.

You can make money with mobile marketing by selling mobile apps, you can market or sell ring tones, wall papers or even affiliate marketing.

I've seen the most success with building mobile optimized landing pages and collecting user data doing that. You can always funnel them along to a mobile optimized CPA offer, but if you collect their data and build your own mailing list there's ample opportunity to monetize the list, which may be easier than actually monetizing the mobile visitor

I have to agree that this is probably the question that I have heard most from people trying to take advantage of this rising tsunami we call mobile marketing.

Anyone that tells you a specific method can not really account for your exact needs and your situation.

How you need to make money TODAY?

Or... are you OK for now and just really want to build that 5 figure per month residual income so you can live the good life?

Depending on your goals, you will have to try different activities.

If you want QUICK money, you are probably going to have to go and sell some services to local businesses. I think that offering a no-obligation promotion for an SMS campaign can be a great way to get your feet in the door with a lot of clients who would just be on the fence. However, you will need the resources to foot the bill in the meantime (to cover 1 keyword and 100 sms's or so to get them started and then send out their first blast to see a result), so this may not work for you.

If you know how to use wordpress, you can also download the Mobile LP's plug in and then start creating mobile websites for clients with very little money needed. Your initial success rate may be low, but if you focus on the vision of where they will be, and can get them to agree to a small fee to set up an SMS campaign, they can be on their way to having a quality list and you have yourself a long term client.

Reason for this is that once their cell phone numbers are stored on your service, if they try to leave you, even if you give them the numbers, they can not upload it into any service because of spam regulations and they will have lost their list.

So while you take a chance on the account, if you can land them it offers you a great chance of keeping them forever if you can prove to them that having a SMS campaign and mobile website can boost their sales on demand.

Mobile industry is full of opportunities, I will say that the work someone is engaged is the best way if they knows how to execute it. People are making fortunes from mobile websites, mobile marketing, application development and mobile marketing. Each and every field is having it's own benefits, the thing that matters is how effectively you makes strategy and how strongly you executes it.

I ran across an interesting post on another forum about mobile marketing in restaurants....
I twisted the strategy a little and am trying to implement it locally. Only problem I see is that I don't know how scale-able it is...Once the networks discover what is going on, I don't think they will allow it on the scale I would like to take it. Even if it is not violating any rules... The traffic this could generate could be substantial and I doubt the offers will convert enough to justify payouts from the advertisers.
