Hey guys, the last couple of months I've been selling sms services to local businesses with some success. However, all of these business have been sending out simple text messages through my sms interface. But lately I've been getting some text messages that when I open them they show a website/and with pics and text with different fonts, etc. I have also sold a couple of these businesses mobile websites but when they send out text messages they usually just place a link to their site in their text message so click through rates aren't as high as I would like. How do I make it so that when they open the text message it takes them right to the site without them having to click?

Do you know how phones/text messages work? Maybe you should be educating your clients on how to better their campaigns and be more creative instead of just sending their clients a text with a url... | |

I've never heard of an sms message redirecting someone to a website or showing them anything other than plain old text, but maybe you should ask the sms provider you're using if they know anything about that too?

Steve, Let me give you an example of what I think he is talking about. Text dl75 to 71441. You will get a reply with a link that will include text, pictures and video. I think it just boils down to who your carrier is. |
