Hi, I have a few people who would be interested in a basic mobile website: main page with six menu items, six sub pages, tap-to-call, map, redirect code. I am offering that in Germany, Austria and Switzerland since I understand the language and I am staying here for a few months. What would be a reasonable price for that? I have found everything from 5 dollars on Fiverr to around 600 dollars from other providers. Myself I thought about 297 Euros which is about $350. I use Will's, Quentin's and a few other methods and can set up such a website quite quickly. Any thoughts about what to ask? Cheers Dan Hower |

Start at $400, if you get no objections to the price, go to $500, still no complaints, go to $600 etc. These are legitimate businesses with smart business owners that know a professional, QUALITY site doesn't cost $5. Also, it depends on the industry. I wont sell a mobile site to a nail salon and a lawyer for the same price. |

Helps to hear the 'how to get pricing settled' strategy... and here are some other ideas I have shamelessly *stolen* from others  Have a few packages - but if there is a price point you like, make it an easy decision to make: Landing page with Tap-To-Call - $299 Mobile site with 3 pages - $499 - Monthly Fee of $50 Mobile site with 5 pages - $599 - Includes *TWO* Monthly 'Coupon' changes in the Monthly Hosting fee of $50 Mobile site with 6 pages $699 - Monthly Fee of $50, Page updates are $50 ea... BUT - This month we are running a special on the 3 page site for only $499... no where in writing so it cannot be used against you in the future. This allows you to use it as a 'closer' point... so the $599 obviously would be THE choice, THE Best Value to make at $499 Right Now!  That's just an example, but there are many versions you could build yourself. Patrick |

One prospect sent me to a website where the offer mobile websites for 15 Euros (= 18 dollars), and asked if I was a re-seller for that website, and offering the 15 Euro website for 347 Euros  15 Euros for a mobile website. Dan... The only way you're going to find out is to get out and test your own pricing models. Seriously, what might be normal in Toronto or Tucson probably has no bearing on what the market will tolerate in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. |
