    Great share!

One of my favorite places for icons is:

    Icon Search Engine | Iconfinder

Will see if your place is better than mine....

    Cheers!

That website's very nice... the google-like header really pulls it off!

I just find it VERY ironic how it doesn't have a favicon :p

I am curious about the license usage allowed for these icons, if your using them in a commercial setting, it looks like you need to purchase a license to use them, at least the first one I looked at was $149 Which is not really that bad, considering some of the other rates that you see online.

I have seen icon sets for sale, at Over $1499.00 which is insane for the average developer.

From what I can see there are basically three or four different license models.

    Royalty Free, (pay for play)
Creative Commons, (must attribute to original producer)
(not really a good choice for commercial use)

Then there is a group type license which is basically a convoluted and often very confusing license model where every use is disclaimed leaving the developer holding the bag.

Still its interesting to have a look at what is available out there.

Nice shares for icons. I've looked through some of those and there are some great artists showing their work there. Thanks

    I use Google images.

Search for the type of icons you are looking for. You can then more easily look through the images and see what each website has to offer and click on the website that has the icons you are looking for.

It's much quicker for me. Obviously once you find the icons you will want to make sure their license allows you to use them for your purposes.

With a bit of searching you can find plenty of PLR icons that would take very little work to make unique.
