What are you guys doing for legal protection? S-Corp? LLC? Contracts? If you chose an S-Corp over LLC or vice versa can you explain why?

Thanks!

It looks by the zero responces on this thread a lot of guys are running their businesses "naked"

There are easy legal ways to get around all of those including a LLC.

You need a Professional Liability Insurance/errors and ommissions policy.

Google it.

Agree 100% that insurance is the first thing to worry about whn it comes to protection. Once you get going further get an LLC or Corp. But to get started you don't need it.

Step number is is to get advice from an accountant and lawyer. Don't risk your business by asking for such advice in a forum. We won't be here to testify in court for you.

These parts of your business are definitely money well spent. Get them right from the start.
