In an article about the rise of context apps, Robert Scoble shows iPhone users use more apps:
Context is the new battleground between Android and iOS | Scobleizer

"What is this pro-iPhone point of view? Well, Path ships on both iPhone and Android. If you look at the market share numbers you know that for every iPhone sold Android sells about three devices. So, Path should be wildly more popular on Android than it is on iPhone. It’s not. In fact only about 30% of its customers are on Android. The rest are using iPhones. You might explain this away by some other factor but I’ve heard this from many many developers, including Starbucks and eBay. iPhone users use more apps. The ecosystem of apps is better on iOS. The profitability of app developers is better on iOS than on Android. On and on."

Marketing is not a battle of products. It is a battle of perceptions.

Hi
In today's time when there is 30,000 android apps, the iPhone apps raised to 100.,000 and is in a continous growth phase now. The best part of using iPhone apps is the size of the view point in iPhone safari which is the exact area the web page tacks up on the screen. It is easy to resize your web browser to the required size of the iPhone safari view point. However there are many more positive facts about an iPhone mobile app, than an android mobile app. let us have a list on some of them. May be then it would be easier for you to judge why iPhone users use more mobile apps.

* iPhone supports much more languages in it than an android phone.
* iPhone OS entertains various accessibility options for those with low eyesight.
* When it comes to media, iPhone is a real media powerhouse. It is easier to read the media content in quick time in an iPhone.
* Though Android 2.2 (Froyo), is now supposed to have the "world's fastest browser on a mobile phone", the browser is still not perfectly accurate. However, when you double-tap on an item in iPhone OS, it zooms so very perfect.
* Truely saying, the design of android apps is not up to the expectation as compared to the iPhone apps design.

So, here you can make out, why there are a lot of iPhone apps users.
