Greetings from Mexico. Does anyone know of WordPress landing page for mobile websites? Here is my plan: I would like to invite people to submit their existing website address along with their email and phone number. I would then make their mobile website and return it to them and offer to sell it to them. BUT I really need a way to gather their website URL before I can do this. Any thoughts? Lin Ronald My Mobi |

The easiest way to do this is use a standard page, size for mobile dimensions, then add your form code. PM me if you need more details.

In your sign up form on your landing page you could ask for name, email, phone and website url thats another option? that way your getting their email for list building and the url for website building? If your landing page visitors are looking for the service and you have a compelling offer they will be happy to provide you with the information you need, |

I know many of our clients have WordPress sites and we have developed very rapid mobile sites for them. I will agree it takes a little effort though - and far too many people over-develop a WordPress site with far too many plugins that aren't needed. They certainly slow everything down.

Not all themes and plugins are developed with the same understanding of mobile optimization. A lot of people make sweeping statements that Wordpress is slow for mobile - its actually not! What slows it down is the plugins, widgets and themes you choose to be presented to your mobile audience. Picking the right addons for your mobile visitors will make a huge difference with regards to page load speeds and the overall mobile end user experience.

Why not use Google Mobile? It's free. You could also offer to do a business listing for them on Google Business Local and create an upsell. Just a thought! Good luck, Jinger |
