| Hey everyone I'm still a newbie when it comes to mobile, affiliate, cpa, etc. even though I have made some money. That being said mobile marketing seems to be the way I wanna go. I use Imobi, but I'm curious of what is the best one to use for traffic. Also what ways are you getting free traffic. All opinions inputs are welcome. Thanks in advance |

I use airpush.com. Gives me conversions 1:3 on 1 out of 3 campaigns. Close the loosing campaigns and keep running the good ones. Simple as that. works for me. Good luck |

For paid advertisements, goMobi has Google Adsense, and they just added Mojiva, Smaato, and Adfonic.

This is a great thread! Thank you for starting it! I'm not exactly a newbie in internet marketing, but there are a lot more that I could learn in order to flourish in this area. I have heard of mobile marketing, but I haven't exactly delved into it yet. I am so glad I ran into this forum thread, perhaps you could add to the ideas posted here? This would make a good reference for us. Will have to look into airpush, since that's what most of the respondents here are saying. Thanks a lot to you all! |

AirPush is self-serve, so you have to build a relationship with your rep and even then your expectations on customer service need to be muted. Traffic quality is key. Many advertisers don't like WiFi traffic. In many cases WiFi traffic sits in the same basket as carrier traffic and, worse for us as advertisers, the LP/offer won't load if not on a carrier network. Gotta be damn careful or your cash will vanish with nothing, or very little, to show for it. Finally, push notifications appear to the end user in an area of the phone that is, for the moment, usually reserved for "know them" messages: your SMS/MMS in-box. I know a few people who fell for the "Get your $500.00 Wal-Mart card" unsolicited push offer that just showed up in their SMS/MMS in-box and the results were disastrous. Not for nothing as this type of advertising, if done correctly, can yield very high ROI but, IMO, it's not for the faint of heart. Lots of other traffic sources available. I just Googled "101 mobile traffic sources" and the results are stunning... vast. Here's one from offermobi: OfferMobi | 101-Mobile-Traffic-Sources Personally, I'd look at that list then begin to formulate the answer(s) your question. (Then post back here of course... Hah.) |

If you have a good app, you can have thousands of entries within a week. I made an Android Facebook app and after a month I got nearly 50,000 active mail adresses. If you have a good marketing strategy (unfortunately I don't have so far :/) you can easily have millions of users that have opted-in to receiving mails from you. | |

AdMob, Epom Market and Smaato. I tried them all, all worth attention, Epom's also great for sites that has mobile traffic, but aren't optimized for mobile devices.

NatGreen - I've gotten good number with the make money/work from home niche. My advantage has been my .01-.03 CPC using Admob. I'm able to test, track, and scale effectively without losing my bank.

adamprince - the key is not to send them directly to a buy page. Build the rleationship 1st...try a free webinar or report. I send mine to a customized business app where they get access to free content that gives them value. Included in the free stuff is a page of recommended products which they usually buy based on the level of free content I already gave them. I never really have to ask for the sale. The key is having a business app...which by the way gets me penny clicks.

I'll have to agree that Airpush is a great source for Mobile. Buzzcity is good as well, but your offers for both networks need to appeal to a broad audience.

Airpush is great, agree with many OPs here. Also Epom market could work out well, but it depends on your type of traffic.

Don't know much about paid traffic. I am not sure if the paid traffic comes organically ?
