I built one for work. It works pretty well. Im just in the middle of launching a small business selling Mobile Apps for local businesses. Have a look at appMobi. You can build your phonegap Apps using their XDK. Pretty cool and packed with good features. Gary |

Truly speaking I don't trust shortcut processes for developing my mobile apps, but this interface seems a bit more reliable than others.

I have used PhoneGap. You may also want to try its integration with appMobi. Titanium Appcelerator is a great alternative. It's API is extensive. If you MUST develop for multiple devices, it will save you time. I, however, am an iOS developer that uses XCode to build my native apps. Are you interested in PhoneGap because you can only code in HTML5/JS? |

Yes and I am very pleased with the results, I am now working on an Android app that will integrate with a php site I am also building. It is super easy to use if you know HTML5 and javascript. Even admob is easy to integrate. With Android it is even easy to compile just HTML5 into a native app if you want just a simple app. The eBook in my sig was my first experiment with compiling just HTML5 to android. It has no adds in at the moment so I will attempt to use admob + phonegap in the next update of it. |

Blog Entries: 163 | We are using PhoneGap or building apps for iOS, Android OS, Windows Phone, BlackBerry OS, Symbian OS, Bada and webOS. What we like is that it provides the native smartphone API set, including accelerometer, barcode scanner, camera, contacts, events, compass, geolocation, media, network, storage, SQLite database and notifications. |
