Mobile application in html5

Hello Everyone,

I have been researching about mobile application made in html5 for couple of week but have not yet found anything that could help me in the process..

I would like to know the following hope you could provide clarity.

1.After creating mobile website how to convert it to mobile app?the next step of the process...
2.Is there certain tools that could make the process faster?
3.Have you tried any WSO product that convert mobile app?

....I'm still learning what to ask but further information would greatly help

thank you guys in advance...

Q1. This depends on the platform you are developing for. All the major players have their own SDK's such as:

Package your smartphone app with the BlackBerry WebWorks SDK - HTML5

or

Building Web Apps in WebView | Android Developers

Q2. Yes such as Cordova & Mosync

Q3. Dont know what you mean by 'convert mobile app'. But I have not used any WSO for any mobile development.

The app in my sig is HTML running in a webview built using eclipse

If you develop in HTML5 / jQuery, a mobile "website" is basically the same thing as a mobile "app" (in that case, an "app" simply means a mobile website that is "interactive").

Several. jQuery Mobile, PhoneGap, and Sencha are a few popular ones.

No, there's nothing to "convert" if you develop in HTML5 from the start.
