Anyone have any experience with MobileBizBox, BiznessApps, or AppsMoment?
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Hi,

I am looking to add mobile apps as another service in my business. I have been doing some research for some mobile app builder platforms to use and from what I have found so far, MobileBizBox, BiznessApps, and AppsMoment are my top 3 picks.

I was hoping to get some feedback on what some warriors' experiences have been with any of these platforms.

Or if you have another suggestion please share it.

Much appreciated

I actually use all 3 of the services you are asking about. Although it is really only 2 services as 2 of them are white labels of other services.

You will find that most of the app offering services on the WF are either white label BiznessApps or Seattle Clouds. Often the service provider does not reveal if they are a white label of a specific product. I have used both BA and SC direct, so it is pretty obvious to me when I get into the back office and can figure it out pretty quickly what service is being offered.

BTW, I have used most providers out there and can say that BA and SC are the two best IMHO. They serve different purposes for me, but both are great.

It is not my place to tell you which of these services white label another, but a little research and you can figure it out pretty easily.

Research BiznessApps and Seattle Clouds and see what provider you would like to go with. Using the services here, you would actually save money over going direct, unless you plan to white label yourself long term.

I am a member of MobileBizBox, but keep in mind it is not just for apps. They offer a mobile website builder and a short code SMS system as well as a killer QR Code system. MBB also has great training, twice a week in-depth webinars and an active FB group. But, the app part of MBB is a white label of another system. MBB can be expensive, unless you have paying clients.

I have rambled enough. Hope this helps and I would be happy to answer any specific questions.

I have spent months testing different vendors and seeing what actually works compared to what they say. This is just my .02 but I use a couple of combinations, one is Createcoolapps and MoBuzz. They both have excellent platforms, however they also provide help and training. If you call them they WILL spend whatever time is necessary to make sure that not only is your question answered but they will offer sales ideas and closing tips.
If you are really serious about running a serious business making a VERY SERIOUS income then you need to talk to Jason at MoBuzz. The platform, the training, the sales ideas, and the back office is top shelf. The more clients you get the more successful you and your product partner will be. Spend some quality time reading all of the posts regarding mobile marketing and take notes. Read every line on the MoBuzz website then give Jason call or send an email. You will be nothing but impressed with his knowledge and willingness to help you succeed.
Good Luck

I appreciate your response it definitely helps. I did look into these and will most likely be getting started with MBB just have a few questions I'd like answered about some of the other services they offer. For instance does the MBB sms system allow for any integrations with any email providers like Aweber, or OfficeAutoPilot?

I might end up at some point using both MBB and SC for apps to see which I like better. I know it may not be proper to post here but if you happen to know which other providers white label BA and SC would you mind sending me some through PM?

Personally I found BA to be best but I have played with SC as well and it is a great program too. If you are looking to go direct to the source, I think those 2 are by far the best choices.

The mobile website system, not the SMS platform, does integrate with Constant Contact, Zoho, Salesforce and a few others via a very easy to create form that you can add to the mobile site. I know they are working on Aweber, it's a question of issues with integrating their API.

You're welcome to hop in to MBB for the free trial and give it a test drive to see how you like all the platforms.

We've use Bizness Apps quite allot actually(We've built over 500 Apps using that platform), and It is pretty cool because it is very user friendly and offers a pretty decent feature set(around 40 features or so). Also the design looks veyr slick with little work on the developers end. The drawback is that it is very cookie cutter and most the apps will look and function the same.

Seattle clouds, and 1 Box apps seem to be the same platform as far as I can see. It isn't really user friendly but it has a host of powerful features and the ability to create some truly custom apps. Including the ability to create your own custom coded pages using SDK and JQuery, so the sky's pretty much the limit at that point.

Also there is a pretty cool builder called Phone Gap that uses Javascript to be able to call up advanced native features like the accelerometer, GPS, etc. The cool thing is Seattle clouds/1 Box allows you to incorporate Phone Gap pages into their apps!

All in all I would say Seattle Clouds/1 Box are a superior builder for an advanced user but could be frustrating for someone with less experience or a business owner who is trying to manage the App themselves.

If anyone is interested in having us build Apps for them at a steep discount to re-sell to their clients, feel free to shoot me a private message.

Hopefully this was helpful!

I have been looking at several different solutions for building apps, I have clients that really want these services, but to be honest, most of my clients do not understand the difference between HTML and PHP and if you talk to them about it they will change the subject fast or suddenly remember something else they have to do.

Just from my point of view, the App business model is really brand new, there are bumps in the road, there are unexpected blips, its part of what is happening right now in this business, nothing is perfect, at least not right now.

The thing I think is the most important here is that there are so many Low quality apps on the market now, that the App Publishers, Apple, Android, Windows, more...

Are starting to single out lower quality applications and they are cutting them out of the equation, which should mean only one thing to providers out there, Get into the game and provide Rich user experiences, User interaction, Useful features and that means having to engage the more complex parts of creating an App.

I'm not an expert but I can see the hand writing on the wall and I know that if I want to make a living providing Apps, I had better choose the solution that provides the most options, the best service, and the future features that my clients want and need in order to succeed.

That is what I am looking for that may be a number of different solutions, I have seen easy solutions, drag and drop easy but not much to offer when it comes to features, I have seen complex solutions that tend to drive you nuts, but in the end with some pertinacity work.

I would rather have complex over easy, because I know that easy anyone can do, complex now that is where the money is at, the last thing that is uber important is the simple fact that service, is the single most important thing to me and many others I represent, now that counts more than anything else, If I send off an email to a support desk and it takes a week for them to get back to me, I'm not interested in those people because they are not manning the desk,

just a few thought's on my own journey in mobile app builders...

I just quote your reply because I have the same point of concerning this topic. Obviously I work in this business ( Tiger App Creator) and I'm tempted to tell you that we are making a great job, but only clients can do this. If we want our clients to be happy, we must provide them the best services with the more efficient features. Thus App Platforms have to evolve and find new features everyday to match clients expectations.
In my opinion the best platform is the one who listen his clients expectations and that evolve to find solutions to these expectations.

It seems that 120 € for licence and 5e per month.

I´m planning to app-business for part time and needed to training making and marketing apps before that.

Is there any free services where i can make apps onWYSIWYG-style?
I just want to training whole process so it´s ok if there´s "sponsored by ads".
Of course i will pay 25$ to Google, but making app should be free at that first time.

Also, i am very grateful for the good tips in the book for the app business!

BiznessApps and AppsMoment offer slightly different templates. It's up to your preference really.

AppsMoment is a reseller of SC, saying that AppsMoment's price is attractive, $29/mo (or $197/year) gives you unlimited apps. That's very good, right? Just wondering though any hidden fees? set up fee? and so on? what about support? Anyone else has any experience with AppsMoment?

I'd say for this decision, you really shouldn't have price being the #1 determiner for which company you go with. So go with what you think the highest quality product is. If you do this, sales will be SO MUCH EASIER, than if you are reselling some random app builder's product because the price per app was lower. Trust me, your sales will suffer and your clients will notice. Go with the best every time when starting a company.

I resell mobile apps for a company called Bizness Apps. Not affiliated at all, just a fan and supporter.

Google is banning apps & total accounts left and right

Stay away from those easy cookie-cutter seattleclouds white label solutions

Biz Apps is little better

Why you should listen to me?

I am going to assume that this post meant that Google is banning apps and accounts in general and NOT specifically Seattle Clouds apps.

Can you build cookie cutter apps with SC? Absolutely!

Can you build apps with SC that could get deleted or even your account banned? Absolutely!

Can you build apps that can get 100,000+ installs with SC? YES!

Can you build professional, quality, money making apps with SC? Without a doubt.

I think it is a bit disingenuous to throw out a statement that could be perceived that SC apps are cookie cutter.

I will reiterate what I have said here often. I use BOTH SC and Biznessapps. SC for info and niche apps and BA for customer apps. Both platforms have their merits and both have their negatives.

I do know that in the past year, Google has definitely been removing low quality apps and even deleting Play accounts with too many violations. A number of apps that were just YouTube channels wrapped in an app were removed, but I have over 100 SC apps in the Play store with a net of over 1M installs. I have had 3 apps removed early on due to 'alleged trademark infringement'. After correcting those issues, I have never had an app remove or requested to be removed and 90% of my published apps are SC.

The key is to build quality, unique apps that have value.

You're experience on both platforms are very helpful, without being bias to only 1 App Builder.

i have used biznessapps.com and they have a good number of quality ready made templates for most businesses, so you can offer your client a quick prototype with most of the functions they probably need in their line of business

Wow I purchased seattle cloud APPSTRONAUTME TEMPLATES | APPSTRONAUTMEAppstronautMe somewhere from WF I had received a email back during the holidays 2014. Cost me $67 and it's stand-alone no monthly. I know they have pricing on their site that is totally different that what I paid but it's really slick with plenty tutorials etc.

But I have sold way more mobile websites and am constantly looking for more builders.
Currently using JumpMobi & MyMobi Admin anyone know of others??? please post

Apps can be ruff on clients and the industry is not very friendly to new comers at this time... you better be on your game.
