We can reasonably expect the plan for the project is based on proximity push notification
(or advertising/promotion via mobile devices, if you prefer),
and navigation (geo-location of the store/office ... via mobile devices of course).

Coupons are already being routed via mobile/SMS, and, after selecting your items,
on your way out, the cell phone will replace the customers' ID and credit card at checkout.

Wow cool. So depending on what part of the mall you are in, you'll get promotions pushed out to your phone. Pretty smart indeed.

Ya that's a great news. However, it would be more interesting If Apple can add this to Maps like google.
