They say seeing is believing, but it's quite surreal, isn't it ? Identical event, exact same geo-location, but what a different crowd. The stark "technological" contrast between the crowds in the two pictures looks more like a 20 - 25 year, and not the 8 year time gap between the two events. Almost other worldly .... literally !! .... as literally as different planets ( maybe different creatures, even ). Thanks for sharing, Aaron. |

Nice! Also, if you guys haven't checked out the Google multi-screen study, it's awesome. I usually print a slide or two from different studies when meeting with clients/prospects. I printed page 8 just to drill it in their heads that glossy magazine advertising isn't the best use of their money. Especially when they're not capturing leads. Here's another study by eMarketer re-iterating that print is way way down, (big surprise) & mObile is growing fast. |

This is a great example of what has happened in the last 8 years. I feel sorry for business owners who refuse to believe that they need a mobile website.

Well best way is to educate them. I've been very busy these days I miss WarriorForum for a while. I did have many medias contacting me (local newspaper, business magazine....) for interviews and articles about mobile websites. Since then I'm the mobile website authority now in my area. I keep informing the public and business owners the benefit of mobile websites. |

This would be a great set of pictures to use in a presentation, but since they belong to two different photographers I'm not sure how easy it would be to get usage rights to use them. |

The emerging technology as of now are based on mobile devices, people prefer mobile devices because of the portability of the device. Mobile devices as of now can be compared to laptops and desktops. More people on mobile means more people can access anything through their phones.

Pretty convincing. Let's see ...Worldwide there are about:: 1 Billion Computers yet 5 Billion Cell Phones, and counting. A picture is worth 5 billion examples, and then some (but who's counting?). "Muy Impresionante." ~ Carlos Slim LifeIsGood ~ It's About To Get Even Better! |

The business owner does not NEED a mobile website. The business owner probably does not WANT a mobile website. The business owner however, NEEDS new customers and repeat customers. Speak the language of the business owner and give the business owner what he or she wants and needs. Explain how a mobile website and mobile marketing will help put more butts in the seats and make the cash register ring louder and often.

You should explain how mobile marketing can work to the benefit of the business. There are multiple ways that it can generate leads. SMS, opt-in landings, targeted emails, facebook all these things in conjunction with say special offers in the store, buy one get one free could potentially entice customers back. Just a boring landing page with all the usual stuff other businesses sell as a way of getting mobile, just don't work and are not appealing.
