Slideshow on mobile Hi guys, Prospective client asked me if I can do a slideshow on a mobile website. A true salesman would have said "Sure, no problem", which explains why I'm not a true salesman! I couldn't give an answer, because I didn't know. Anyone know how to put a slideshow on a mobile site? I presume it would be through CSS? Thanks in anticipation |
Re: Slideshow on mobile peter_act, It's probably possible. There are few jquery plugins for that purpose that fairly easy to integrate into html code. One of those plugins http://www.woothemes.com/flexslider/. Some of mobile sites I created with this plugin Pai-CS http://casadobrasil.mobi/ http://m.sender1948.co.il/ I will happy to help you in case you have some issues with this plugin. |
Re: Slideshow on mobile Thanks for that. I'm confident with the Wordpress plugin solution, but my sites are built in pure HTML. I need to integrate the slideshow code into HTML. Please PM me if you have a solution, or put it in this thread so others can know as well. Cheers |
Re: Slideshow on mobile I did not mean WP plugin. That's the solution for HTML sites. I've sent you PM. |
Re: Slideshow on mobile Thanks again, Looked at the Flexslider option you suggested, and that seems to be the answer. Cheers |
Re: Slideshow on mobile It can be done with html and javascript. It's easier and works on every smartphone :) Let me know if you need any help.I'll be around on Skype this weekend.Cheers |
Re: Slideshow on mobile Jump Mobi can do this in the form of a gallery, don;t know if that helps? We use it for kitchen planners and real estate agents to show their portfolios. |
Re: Slideshow on mobile You can do that with JQuery plugins. Flex Slider works good for me. |
