Hey guys, So I am making a fairly large mobile website for a friend of mine who owns a restaurant chain, and... I'd like your help on which design looks better, ultimately the choice will be his in the end. But I will be showing him this thread for feedback. Your thoughts are appreciated and welcomed. Regards, Stephen. |

Thanks buddy, There is actually going to be no contact or tap to call on the index page... There are a 9 or 10 restaurants in the chain so they will all have their own mini index page complete with location, tap to call, contact and a booking page. Thanks for the input though. Regards, Stephen |

Stephen, I personally prefer the one with the icon buttons. I do agree though that a prominent click to call button is needed on that site. |

+1 for icon style. I can't make a correct judgment without seeing it on a real device but I would make the icons a little less darker.

Thanks nail, I will throw a few different versions together with icon colour variations, my buddy can then check them live and choose his favourite. | ||

I prefer the design with icons, it has more dimension to it. The buttons look kind of flat. |

The background looks a bit dull to me. It can be brighter or you can even use a colour scheme that brightens up one's mood.
