Mobile conversion

So I am getting pretty deep into my site design and content. Unfortunately, I just realized how poorly my site design converts to mobile viewing. Is there a way to make my site more mobile friendly without completely revamping the theme? I like the style of some of the other themes on mobile but noticed that with them, there is actually some content that gets cut off on one side on occasion. Any suggestions? Thanks

You have two options here.

1. If your site is small and doesn't have too much content on it then creating a separate mobile site could be good.

2. If your site is larger and will be updated quite frequently, then creating a responsive theme is more practical. Just finish your theme and then find a service online that does HTML5 conversions. You can send them your site and they will recode it so the theme is responsive and resizes to fit all types of devices.

Option 2 sounds like a good idea. I really like how I have it laid out especially for those visiting on a pc or laptop. But I know that some people, maybe the majority of people will be visiting the site on a mobile platform of some kind. Thanks

Yeah, there's no hiding the fact that your percentage of mobile visitors is only going to keep going up and up. So it does make sense.

But if you are not familiar with responsive designs then I probably wouldn't waste the time in learning how to do all of that stuff when you can just find someone to do it for you and have it done right away.

Let us know how it goes.

Boy, maybe option 1 would be better. A little money now for a premium theme to save having to pay someone who knows how much to convert it.

Thanks for the link, It actually brings me back to option 1. Small investment now vs big investment later. I have the luxury of the fact that my website is still in the building phase (maintenance mode) and won't be up and available to my audience for months so it seems better to make the adjustment now.
