Hi,

It will be campaigns mainly for products that have minimal or no TV adds. Many small companies are opting for SMS marketing and if you have an established portfolio and follow ethical methods of marketing, then you can make much more money.

Thanks

sms communication is quick and it becomes very easy to target people for products that have no exposure over other advertisment sources like Television ads, Radio ads ect. It is also considered the chepest source of advertising so you can save lot of money.

Using SMS in the right way is the wave of the future. Everyone reads their texts, but many people delete emails without reading them. If done properly it can be a great tool. If not done properly it will be spam and spam doesn't get you far.

I agree that sms marketing has many benefits, one of the main being that they have a 99% open rate vs. about 10% for e-mail, and most of them are opened within 3 minutes, whereas most e-mails are opened within the first 18 hours.

For businesses this means quick access to their customers, and a way to bring them into their business the same day.

My question to the group is if anyone has used Apple's Passbook in their marketing, or selling that as a coupon method to local businesses?
