I was just reading a thread about which software can effectively send out 100's (or even 1000's) of emails a day.

My question isn't about software so I didn't post my question there since it'd be a 'hijack' of sorts.

For those who are sending 100's of emails to cold leads - what's your rate of conversion? How many are actually opening and then responding?

Is it worth the effort?
