It seems like at least one big WWDC 2013 Apple’s update hasn’t gotten an appropriate attention. It’s about iAd - the Apple’s own mobile advertising platform that was acquired by Apple back in March, 2010 and renamed from Quattro to iAd. Since then it was met with mixed reaction by mobile app developers community. For some people it worked great, for some not so. And now with the launch of iTunes Radio, Apple brings iAd to this brand new radio service plus to its current mobile app networks, which potentially promises a huge audience increase. There are two tools that come with the updated iAd - WorkBench and iProducer. WorkBench is the updated Dashboard that promises to deliver better results in terms of ads performance and CPC and CPA metrics for an app. iProducer is a desktop application to create great looking ads using either Apple’s own templates or create from scratch. This is a good development. Lately I have been using RevMob because the payouts and analytics are better. You can't beat how easy it is to implement iads though!
