Hopefully I've posted this the right place. ![]() First of all, what are services like this called in English? You make a call to get some kind of info, and then you have to pay the person/company you call a few bucks a minute. Services like this are pretty simple to set up here in Norway, but I'm not sure what kind of info I can/should provide. Can be anything, really, whoever picks up the phone just have to have access to the web to look up the answer.. But does anyone have a good suggestion as to what kind of info it would be good to provide? We already have a pretty big company that you can call and they will usually give you the answer to just about anything you ask (even though it cost me about $20 when I called them and they tried to look up an address, took them several minutes). I don't wanna compete with them, I'd rather focus on a more targeted market, like computer help through the phone or something like that. |

I think you are referring to Premium Rate telephone numbers? You can call them for tech support but pay anything up to £5 per minute on your telephone bill. Dexter. |

Yes, thank you! ![]() I can run some sort of computer support, I guess. Not sure how the market is, though, I'll have to check that out. Thanks! |

I've been planning on getting a premium number to make money on for quite some time now, but the routine is that I think about it for a few days and then I forget about it. It pops back into my head on a regular basis though, and it came back to me again when I read the article you linked to a few days ago. ![]() |
