It seems when I make the text wider than 320px, the text will come out like this: Here is some text example for you to see what I mean...it doesn't really look too good now does it? You see what I mean? 320px is really thin, when writing long emails it doesn't look good on the computer. How can I make my emails about 500px wide and have the text automatically format itself to fit an iPhone or an Android phone later? Thanks. |

Not sure but mailchimp definitely uses emails wider than 320px and they look ok on the iphone

You can down scale your images to 475px, they look best on smartphones. You can use GIMP for scaling down your images for your emails. Hope that contributes.

Just make sure the code is optimized for mobile devices. Scaling down images would be silly and a waste of time.

I suggest send emails as plain text and they will always be displayed right on any device you can think of. Thanks

No. The way to design content is to forget about widths. Instead you should be making your emails and whatnot responsive such that they adjust to whatever device the user is viewing them from.
