Re: Mobile Marketing

I use mobile marketing every day with my business and send out my blogs, audios, videos, product alerts, etc. It is extremely easy and helps me to live life on the run and still conduct my business. People aren't glued to laptops anymore, it's the phone or the tablet. With a message that's both short and sweet or longer and richer, they can take it and watch, learn, listen wherever they go and with whatever time they have. This is a mobile time we are in, no longer do people have to sit at a desk to get information. Who doesn't google something at a restaurant during the course of a conversation anymore? And I love the platform that has given me this freedom.

Mobile marketing was important for all kind of business but now mobile site will be removed form market because a new term came into existence and that is "Responsive" now any business need not to build any specific site for mobile.
Not static website are moving towards fluidic site which responsive sites. Now business owner will be having one site and that would be open in same phase on iphone, tab, laptop, computers etc. Therefore Mobile Marketing strategy and techniques will be changed soon.

Everything is not so perfect with responsive sites as you have described, there are some limitations which can be solved via establishing separate mobile site or even a mobile app. Of course mobile traffic is getting bigger and bigger, so it's the future.
But you need to decide on the kind of mobile presence in every individual case.

Find more information in the article Why Would You Need A Responsive Website?

Of course it is ! not only that it is possible, it is a must!
More and more people are searching for things on their mobile devices...
and also, you gotta' remember that mobile not only means iPhone and Galaxy... it also means Tablets...
People are using their mobile cells more than their computers these days...

Not completely agree...
Responsive is a method of programing that isn't "perfect"... it is a fast way to make your website look good on mobile also, but there are still a lot of features that will not be available...
If you ask a good programmer, he/she will tell you that responsive is "quick & dirty" while mobile optimized is still the correct way...
As for marketing strategies... those are always changing, you got to keep on track :)

I use mobile blogging daily. I can make video, text and audio posts and have them online in minutes. The advantage to small businesses are obvious. Taking away the time and technical constraints from blogging opens this form of promotion up to people who formerly could not spare the time and cost. It's becoming a great hit with real estate people because they can do video walkthroughs of rental and sales properties and by posting their blog url on their offline advertising media they get great responses from their local markets.

babuyusu91... Yes absolutely!!! All local businesses of all type, are in desperate need for mobile website, their presence on the web makes them more marketable to their prospects. If they fail to have a mobile website, they will eventually die out in the competition. 68% use smartphone to find products and of the 30 billion mobile searched made annually, 12 billion are coming from mobile. Hope that gives a better glimpse.

Depends what business you have?
Or maybe you need a mobile site? Or maybe you offer a service that could use an APP?

I agree, their are many ways to market. Mobile apps and sms are my two favorite.

Mobile marketing can generally be used for all industries.
Even the industries where you may not see an immediate use case, for example mining companies are even using SMS texting for internal communications with their employees to announce important news, shift openings, etc.

I have been a white label reseller for Trumpia for more than a year. Today, I have been unable to reach trumpia's support team by telephone all day. For the past 2 hours and 54 minutes I have been calling repeatedly to no avail. I wait on hold for 20 minutes at a time until their phone system dumps me into voice mail. I'm on hold again with them now.

Please remember this post about my experience when you consider Trumpia, and when you see TrumpiaTim posting to these forums.

Of course it is helpful for any sort of business. The good thing about mobile marketing is you can target wide range of audiences at a time. And the best part about mobile marketing is you can do direct interactive marketing 24/7.
