Really, there are two options. You either provide them with a mobile site for no down payment and charge them like $30 a month for life, or you charge them a one time flat fee for the website. I have heard of companies charging a decent flat rate AND charging a few bucks each month. Here is the problem. A small businesses can't handle the complication, certainly not on an initial sale. They also do not want another bill each month. Plus, having to collect a monthly payment on 1000 small business owners requires a whole different department. Not fun. A large business would prefer to just make a one time payment for their mobile site as well. Also, I would prefer to just get the money in. It is a thriving business and companies will always be willing to pay several hundred dollars for a good site from a good salesmen. Sure the idea of getting hundreds of dollars down, then $20 a month for the life of a customer looks really good in 9 months from now. In my opinion when you factor in the drop in the closing rate due to the request of the ongoing payment, the time spent as well, there is more money in just getting a single sale upfront. I suppose there would have to be some support required to help each and ever business owner get the hosting going. Also, I understand that if a customer is on the hook with you monthly it may be easier to get them to buy other services later. I do not agree. You can always go back to any past sale. Thoughts? |

You can get mobile website creation software from a hosting company for pennies. I think there is a big difference between this and a custom coded mobile website.

Mobile SEO? Mobile Coupons SMS marketing It's simple, just set the client up with a paypal subscription invoice, then every month the invoice is paid. We do this for some US clients. Dexter. |

We typically build very basic sites from upwards of $500 and then supplement that with monthly of $150+ for SMS, QR Code tracking and site updates. We use WHMCS for managing our sales have done for about 8 years now - great piece of software! HTH Jay |
