I'm building a "Mobile Business Directory" for a Tourist Town and I'd like to find ways of Promoting the site so "Tourists & Travelers" visiting the Town can easily find my Mobile Directory. I'm going to be placing a Display at the front desk of local hotels however, I'd like to know some other ways of helping Visitors find my Mobile Directory who might not be staying at local hotels. Thank you, Don Alm |

midasman09 do some affiliate marketing, you could promote your business in a wide range of cyber spaces. Also work on social media, they bring you a lot of visitors as well.

Hey Don how is it going? Targeting tourist is pretty difficult but you are on the rite track with the hotels. I would also be including rental car agencies, visitor centers, travel agencies ect. Be sure to structure the directory in a way that it benefits locals as well, tourist/visitors get most of their recommendations from locals. You can do this by streaming local radio, having a local events page ect. Also be sure to give a discount to the popular tourist destinations in the area in exchange for some help promoting the directory to the folks who come in. |

Ya.....there's a great Tourist draw in my area (Wild Life Safari) Because there's a restaurant inside it may be hard to get them to hand out my thingee however, maybe they'd do it if I gave them a Free Space. "Ya never know unless ya try!" Don Alm..... |
