Does anyone have any good infographics or presentation materials to use for marketing mobile websites? Looking for stuff like % of people who access businesses with their phones/tablets, how much the industry has grown, etc. Thanks! |

"Statistics..ta-tistics"....I'm NOT trying to convince "accountants" on why they should have a "Mobile-Presence". My prospects are Owners of Restaurants and other Small Businesses. Years ago, when websites were starting up, I used "Stats" in my sales presentations and discovered that my Prospects don't give a whiz about "Stats"....ALL they are interested in is, "HOW can your service bring me more customers/clients/patients". With restaurant owners especially, I just ask my prospect, "What percent of tourists or travelers staying at local hotels carry some sort of Mobile Device?" Their response determines "how I'm going to talk to them to get them to buy my mobile service". If they respond with: "Oh...probably ALL people staying at local hotels have some kind of Mobile Thing". I do NOT need to spend much time on trying to convince them to pay for a service that will get THEM onto those Mobile Things. If they respond with; "Oh...maybe 10% to 20%!" I Know I must spend time on "selling" ...."enlightening" them. And....whenever I've shown some "Stats".....they "question" WHERE I got those Stats and WHO are the people giving them...etc! So....I simply appeal to their "common sense", no matter what percent they respond with, by telling them; "Well, those that DO have some sort of mobile thingee, staying at local hotels, have 2 other things; 1) Money to spend on eating at a restaurant 2) Hungry to eat "So they whip out their mobile device....look for restaurants they can EASILY find on their Mobile. When they get to your Restaurant, they discover they have to "SCROLL" side to side, up and down and...the print is so small it's hard to read so....they give up and look for a restaurant site that's EASY TO READ AND UNDERSTAND....PLUS a simple "Tap To Call Button" and a MAP on how to get to YOUR place! AND....if I can SHOW my prospects THEIR Restaurant on a Mobile....it's a done-deal! (Will R has some great Mobile stuff) Don Alm....sales guy |

WillR has provided a ton of info on the sales side of it, I wasn't impressed with the templates so I modified them to suit my needs but his WSO is well worth the money IMO. | |
