|  Where are apps hosted?

Hey, I'm very green when it comes to apps. I was wondering if like websites apps have to be hosted on a server. I read that they're hosted on android/apple but I'm not sure.... I saw this Cloud Hosting :: NetHosting.com What other places can I host my app? Do I need one? |

Apps are software so dont need hosting as they are downloaded and installed just the same as laptop / desktop software.

There are a few type of Apps 1) Website scripts 2) Software Both are hosted on a website hosting or a server somewhere! Some turn their responsive or mobile website into an app by use of plugins or wordpress plugins! Others allow you to download and install software which installs the app!
