Can you please critique my first course "How to Make a Catchy Icon to Get a Flood of App Downloads"?

Hi there..

So I've crossed 1 million app downloads.

And I've created my first short course. It's about making catchy app icons that increase your downloads.

But I'm just not sure if the customers will like the presentation format of the course.

Can you please check it out and let me know your thoughts?

It's on Udemy but I've not made it publicly available. You can access it through this private link:

https://www.udemy.com/how-to-make-a-...ode=iamawesome

Let me know if you like the presentation format.
And what you want me to add, remove or change.

Thanks for your time!

Shariq

P.S. Mods, I hope it's allowed here. If not, let me know, I'll take it down. Thanks.

Shariq - I wouldn't change a thing. Once I figured out that I didn't have to wait for slides to appear, got the hang of the that, and then your slides told me how to get the hang of it, it was smooth sailing. I moved quickly to section 2 and have stopped there, since I'm not yet an app developer. Your sense of humor is hilarious. Great work. I really couldn't think of how you could change it.

Hi Shariq!

It's an interesting course, but you certainly know that the icon will not help you to gain a lot of downloads. You can check our article How To Create A Brilliant App Icon. Maybe you'll find there some more ideas for your course. Good luck!

Thanks Patrick.

It was a relief hearing that!

I was afraid my sense of humor won't come off right in a text presentation

Thanks for the validation

Well the icon does matter a lot in the wallpaper/game niches that I'm in. I've brought games back from the dead just by changing the icon. And turning them into 8 bit retro pixelated versions.

You've some good tips too.
