Well it depends, the old 'mobile phones' could only make calls and sms. Even the term 'smart phone' is outdated for the latest technology as they are more like 'portable communications and entertainment devices' |

interesting and thought provoking, but as one other poster concluded some of the sources are not necessarily a factual source, (not to say they are false but just perhaps a bit too convenient.) Just head out to the local mall, look around, (really look) You will see people all over the malls looking at their smart phones, searching, texting, interacting, (in some cases they are more engaged in what is going on with a text conversation than what is going on at the mall. That is why malls all over the US are becoming more deserted... Less brick and mortar shops are viable... (the truly scary thing is that many small business owners either are oblivious to what is happening or they just do not know what to do to take advantage of the technology) |

As a fairly new 'internet' marketer I've noticed the growth in mobile marketing and as has been said above, people don't just use their phones to make calls (unless you're my Dad that is :-)) Thanks for the share and comments others have left. Frasser |
