Is it the industry standard that affiliates have to pay when a mobile app is installed? I have never heard of affiliates having to pay for completed actions/installs on CPA networks (non mobile) and only getting to keep less than 50%! According to appfloor.com: (https://appfloor.com/index2.php) ...This way, our affiliates only have to pay per install. For example, we have an android app offer with payout of $1.50 per install. We negotitate the CPI rate with our partners and agree on $1.00 per install. Our affiliates can then promote this offer. They pay $1.00 per install for traffic, and they are paid $1.50 for every install. This gives them a profit of $0.50 per install. If they drive 5000 installs, that is a profit of $2,500. They can scale the campaign as they wish to drive as many installs depending on the budget cap set by the advertiser. |

In essence what they are saying is that instead of paying on a CPC basis for traffic you pay for each install - from the traffic source @ $1 per install. You then get paid $1.50 by the affiliate network profiting 0.50 cents for each install. I hope that was clear. |

If you have promoted CPA offers before now, you will notice that when promoting an offer, you might not even get 10% profit on your advertising expenses. That is why you test, test, test and optimize campaigns until you get it right. Doing this testing cost money. Buying CPI traffic to promote CPI offers, saves you lots of time and money. You are sure of what you are doing and what you will make at the end of the day. www.appfloor.com is simply the best option for affiliate marketers promoting mobile campaigns. | |

If i understood the question correctly, an affiliate does not pay to a CPI network. An affiliate brings downloads through his sources, and receives the money for the job. How much? Well that depends on the payout for the offer and type of campaign. Non-incent iOS f2p game could earn you from $1 to $2,50 per install.
