I have an idea for a mobile phone app and wondered what kind of cost I'm looking at. Basically I want to be able to update people about deals and change businesses to advertise on the app. Could anyone recommend a developer or site that could help me. Thanks |

Hey, I was on the same boat as you until I found out about Niche Marketing Apps Basically, this site makes any type of app you want, and publishes it into the Kindle, Amazon, & Android market! It's also the cheapest prices available on the internet (I did my research). Hope this helps. |

If i hire someone on fiverr to make an app for me, what stops them from stealing my idea and selling it themselves?

2) Have them sign an NDA 3) Create a set up so they can work remotely and everything is saved in your computer. 4) Place specifications in your contract to receive the code as one of the terms of payment 5) Patent your idea/app as soon as you can

I recommend freelancer. Let the bids begin! jquerymobile which was posted earlier is a nice program, if you want to apply most of the work yourself which i prefer to do. |

Reputable software companies or contractors, that speak English fluently, are more expensive, but you'll get a higher quality product and better customer satisfaction overall. As a previous software consultant myself, you're probably looking at a $1000-$2000 price-tag for this app. I'd say stay way from Fiverr unless you don't care about the quality of your app. 99% of the time, you'll get an app with lots of bugs and a clunky/amateurish looking interface. If you have time, I'd actually consider learning to build an app, as this will save you money and you'll be able to build your app exactly the way you want it. As mentioned in a previous post, there's tools out there that will help you build simple apps without having to get too involved with low-level code.
