Hello,

I've tried to create a campaign in admob to promote an application as affiliate. My ads were disapproved, reason: "Display url inaccurate".

The problem is that I have not set a display URL while I was creating my campaign (ADMOB > PROMOTE NEW APP > NEW CAMPAIGN) and now I don't know where I can modify the display URL.

I can see the same campaign in my adwords account and there I can see a display URL automatically set, which is the same as the destination URL. If I try to modify the display URL from adwords I get an error message like "This campaign and its content cannot be modified in adwords".

Thats because Adwords is not Admob.

Can you delete the campaign in Admob and create another one with all the correct details filled in.

I've followed the below steps in ADMOB to create a campaign filled all the required fields but I can't find where to set the DISPLAY URL:

Step 1. PROMOTE > NEW CAMPAIGN > ADD YOUR APP MANUALLY

set campaign name and platform


Step 2. DESIGN AD > NEW AD > IMAGE AD

Set Ad name, MAX CPC, Destination URL, Upload Image


Step 3. SELECT TARGETING

Set Geo locations, Languages, Carriers and bandwidths, Devices and OS versions, Demographics


Step 4. BUDGET, SCHEDULE AND NAME CAMPAIGN


Set Daily budget, Schedule, Start date/End date, Frequency capping, Campaign name


***Note: for destination URL I have set an affiliate URL and not a direct link to play.google or itunes stores.

thanks for the link, I read the same page yesterday, and yes, it helped me to understand what to put in the display url field.

The problem is that I can't find the display url field. Yesterday I've submitted to admob support a ticket about this issue, I look forward for their help too.

Hi Jivan, did you managed to solve this situation? I encountered the same "Inaccurate display URL" in Admob and couldn't locate any display url to edit.
