Which would be the best method for article marketing?

Slide Share or Ezine Articles?

I would say an integrated approach is the best. You can always use both or more. The more the merrier :-). Keep it clean.

What length articles would you recommend to get traction from them. I know most would quote 350 - 400 words, would that be plenty?

You can use both the sites and an article can contain 500 words but make sure it will be unique and interesting for attracting the visitors.
