Hey there, It seems like you are just interested in getting people an offer, not necessarily ‘spamming them with information’. The CAN-SPAM act is the best place to start. Understanding the rules laid out in this landmark act of 2003 is the essential first step to sending a clean campaign. Consult your lawyer. Consult your physician before you consult your lawyer. Consult whoever it takes. Just learn these rules, because they are the basis on which you can get sued. Many countries have different spam laws, which means that, even if you’re sending from the United States, if your email goes to Europe, Canada, the United Kingdom, or Australia, then you have to abide by different regulations. Even sending to and from certain U.S. states (*cough* California *cough*) entails different rules. The bottom line is that if you’re sending to or from these territories, you should make sure you know their specific rules or consult with a lawyer who knows them. |

Don't do the services without knowing its rules and regulations. It is better to offer services after receiving the knowledge from the experts.

Before sending and emails or offering services it is suggested to check with the rules and regulations of the country associated with that service provided on the internet.

As long as you do it by hand and i a personal basis you would be fine. now if you are thinking about mass mailing that is SPAm and is illegal and if you are based in North america that could get you in some legal troubles.. I suggest in the other hand to buy targeted mailing lists (not cheap) from people that have agreed to receive those messages some lists are pretty good while others have been dried out dead by some companies think of lose weight lists, etc - But maybe a birds lovers list would be a nice target for some pet stores, etc. |
