It is, and although I've certainly seen a couple of members from Vilnius here, my guess is that the overwhelming majority of members just don't know anything about applying for credit-cards in Lithuania. Have you asked your own bank? (That's often a good starting-point, as they may be able to offer you some advice, even if they're not able to supply one themselves.)

Banks in Lithuania only give you credit if you have personal assets or a job, and I'm a student. I've heard that some services in US can give up to 10k dollars credit, even if you don't have any assets. But that is only in US, so I'm wondering maybe there are some international services that does that.

You heard wrong, if you don't earn an income you're not getting credit, even in the US.

I don't know; sorry. I'd guess that (especially these days!) that's terribly unlikely: unsecured international lending of any amounts worth talking about, to students without proof of income, must be almost unheard of, surely?

Banks like "Capital One" will often "take a chance on people" and give them something like a Visa card with an initial 200/300Euro limit, but I don't know whether they even trade in Lithuania.

I would imagine that almost all credit-cards for which you're eligible are going to be pre-paid/securitised ones (which are really much more like debit-cards in that you can spend only what's already available, albeit that they're commonly referred to as "credit-cards"?).

You may be able to get something like an "Entropay" card, but that's not really a credit-card, in the sense that you're asking about, I think.

Don't believe everything you hear about the U.S. To get 10k credit you need income, credit history, good credit rating.

Do you have any available money at all? you can see if they offer a secured credit card, if you give them $300 to hold, you will get a $300 credit line and the same goes for $500 or $1000.
