I was inspired by the "Back To The Future" thread. The series can be television or have started on the big screen, but it should be at least 2, preferably 3 or more movies or episodes. I have so many I'm not sure where to begin. Off the top of my head, in no particular order:

Back To The Future Trilogy

Star Trek movies, original crew & TNG

The "Rocky" movies

Into The West (love it!)

Star Wars (I prefer the original movies)

The Thornbirds

Roots

Planet of The Apes (original movies)

The Karate Kid movies

I'll post more as I think of them.

The "Dollar" Trilogy (A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More and The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.)

Leone's "Once Upon a Time" series: (Once Upon a Time in The West, Once Upon a Time in America and - to a much lesser extent - Once Upon a Time: The Revolution aka "Duck, You Sucker!")

The first two Alien movies (Alien and Aliens)

    The Terminator and Terminator 2.

    The Godfather 1 and 2.

The Dark Knight Trilogy (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises).

The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum.

      Yep. I like those, too.

      I've never seen those.

I like all of those, though I haven't seen The Dark Knight from start to finish or the Dark Knight Rises at all. Same with the "Bourne" trilogy. I saw the first one, but not the last two.

LotR, first 3 Indiana Jones films ( Raiders best of all). Mad Max, especially 2. Usually watch the Toy Story, Addams Family and Shrek movies if they're on telly too.

The Middle Earth saga (Hobbit, Lord Of The Rings)
    The Bourne trilogy
The 007 series (not all of them though)
    The Godfather (first two only)
The redux version of Planet Of The Apes (the original series hasn't aged well, and only the first two of that were any good back in the day)
The Alien series (first two only)
The Die Hard series (haven't seen the last one though)
    Terminator (first two only)
    Shrek (first two only)
The Monty Python collection (Holy Grail and Life Of Brian only)

Haven't seen all of the Back to the Future series, and can live without seeing all of it..
Gave up on Star Wars after Return of the Jedi.
Have only seen the Dark Knight one with Heath Ledger.

Time Tunnel, Irwin Allen 1960's series.

The funny thing about this is it doesn't really age at all, and is still a cool idea!

      Doctor Who, 1970's, Tom Baker.

Clever and varied storytelling, the modern ones have their moments, but it is stuck in the horror, worn out mob on Earth in the 1800, genre. Only for die hard fans that will watch anything!

I could give a list of Die Hard ones, etc, but tend to list never seen for 10 years or more tv series. They tend to mean more when the free to air scum sucking ^&&* never play them anymore!

Atlas Shrugged seems to be very good. Anyone wish to discuss what they agree and don't agree with within the movies?

I watched the first two and thought they were good.
Unless a movie is a documentary I just look at them as entertainment and don't take them that seriously.
But yeah Atlas Shrugged would be on my list, as well as the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and the duo of House of 1000 Corpses and The Devils Rejects. The next movie on my "want to see" list is Zombies The Lords of Salem.

Godfather and the Dark Knight movies. Watched them about 3 times each one, and I still loved them.

Lord of the Rings for me. The Hobbit is good but I don't think it's in the same league as LOTR

Lotr, I still get goosebumps at certain scenes. Hobbit is okay, but it's does not come close to Lotr trilogy.
And Star Wars (d'oh!), the original trilogy, prequels are bad (the sith is okay I guess, but that's about it)..
