Where has she been all my life?

I'm sure most of the regulars here know I mess around with the guitar, and know the blues are one of my favorite genres of music. I just "discovered" the Samantha Fish Band. There are a lot of songs on YouTube by her, and this gal can make a guitar sing. So where has she been all my life?

Just cause blues might be one of your favorite genres:

I saw him at my local club not so many years ago.
Super nice guy. Super good guitar. Stevie Ray good
to my lightly trained ear. Was/is in Cross Canadian Ragweed.
    Worth a listen for sure.

She played at that same club often. I worked there.
You had to make sure all the TVs were off.

You had to make sure Courvoisier was on hand for Tab.
He plays the spoons and was very grateful I found his set before they left the club.

Hope I gave you some more new ones.

    Dan,

The strongest influence in most of the Seth James music seems to be country to me. It's good, but not what I'd call the blues. Carolyn Wonderland is new to me, and I like it. I'll be checking out more of her music. Tab Benoit I'm familiar with, and have some of his music.

Thank you, sir! Any day I come across a new blues artist I like is a good day.

      You're welcome.

Seth can jam live. He can make that guitar sound like an airplane and all sorts of those things. Tab would go on some political rants on stage. Many customers did not like that and tell me they just wanted him to play. Regardless of dialogue content, I think most musicians should just play. Carolyn would pretty much just play- tell the inspiration behind some songs.

PS - I hate Courvoisier. It burns going down.

How you are still single, is a real mystery to me.
I think any of the women here could probably solve that mystery for ya.

Samantha Fish is uber talented on that guitar - never heard of her.

Watching two of the videos what I keep thinking is "she needs a style". Not like me to think that but the short skirts (her legs are so-so), same old "blond, messy" hair so many wannabe musicians seem to have...don't fit her music.

I get that. For me though, she could look like Claude and dress in a bubble suit and it wouldn't matter. It's all about the guitar.

I was amazed I hadn't previously heard of her when I saw how good she was and how many videos she has on YT. Just goes to show you there are always more great artists to discover.

Thats her whole allure. To look damn sexy ( at least to me anyway) and "blond, messy" and be able to perform like that.

          Very rare !!

P.S. She either does Squats or Leg Presses to get legs like that, what a sweep in quads
