It really depends on what's important to you. Personally, I probably wouldn't spend $97 per yearon it (I believe that's the current price). It's a shiny object chaser's dream as it's filled with a ton of free WSOs. However, if you're focused and can keep from getting distracted by all the fluff and hype, then you'll likely get your money back with some of the occasional gems in there.

        $97, no way!

Went there recently to try to find anyway to make some extra money, but unfortunately virtually all the WSO's listed there, and given away don't offer much!

If you are a total newbie, then maybe!

But eventhough most there, are ineffective or don't work the way they should, etc, indirectly you could still find something useful?

I downloaded a WSO on Fiverr, from there recently and eventhough the main way to make money didn't work the way it was supposed to, (l have spend the last two months trying to make as much as possible with it, with a paid WSO) indirectly l still got something useful!

Or l found some sites that offer free PSD files, one of them having a lot of text formats that should save me a lot of time fiddling around with text structure in my Flyers.

I have also tried a lot of other things there, but since it is free there, the obvious question is, why are they making it free, where if it was effective you would have to still pay for it?

I must admit I had no idea it was $97 a year now.

I think I paid $37 and that's for life. Well, it was when I bought it.

I think before answering we need to consider the source. The OP joined in 2009 - has been posting occasionally since 2010. I can understand a new member asking this ...but...

If you did not join the War Room at $37 for 20 years - or at $20 for a year - you aren't serious about joining at $97 either.

You complain in another thread about lack of PM space - could have solved that years ago by joining the War Room. You chose not to.

You also complain about having to look at WSO titles when you view "NEW POSTS"...

,,, it is degrading the forum and offending me personally. When I go to New posts all I can see are these WSO offers...
You are missing something here: This is a money making marketplace. It's designed to advertise and to sell products - and those products are aimed at IMers because it's a marketing forum.

If you are personally offended by advertising - this is not the place to be.

Also looking at your website Michael you do seem to be a freelance web designer and have been for 10 years. You also have a traffic and ranking service too not to mention may others. Your customers consider you an entrepreneur too. Good for you.

I'd have thought a mere $97 would be quite easy to come by in your business.

Turns out that thread was a word-for-word copy of a thread posted by someone else a month ago. I think mods may need to exercise the ban hammer a little more so people straighten their act up.
