7. You learn to forgive and forget. Or, to forgive and remember forever.

There are things people do that can be neither forgiven nor forgotten. But at times, it's better to forgive so you can be at peace with yourself and move on instead of holding onto this giant piece of regret, or anger, or hatred, or jealousy, or some other emotion that eats at you raw until you bleed everything you have out. Becoming at peace is the most important part.

There's one final lesson that we learn from a**holes. We learn to appreciate what we have and that time is fleeting and should not be wasted on people who don't deserve it.

Though it sucks, we do have the ability to cut people out of our lives who shouldn't be there.

Overall, our lives should be spent on the people we love, the things we're passionate about and on living each day to the best of our ability.

One of my huge pet peeves in Life. Being exposed to blatantly disrespectful a-holes in Life and in the lives of my loved ones .

I have to walk away. Makes me too confrontational

Having A-holes in your life affords you the opportunity to appreciate the good people that inhabit your universe as well as providing the illusion of one's own sense of superiority. We are all someone's idea of an A-hole, or you're just not living life to the fullest.

Just keep in mind that it is always better to give - than receive. :-) "That's my motto up where I come from." (Stanley Kowalski in 'A Streetcar Named Desire').

      Cheers,

      Frank

P.S. Have you missed me??? lol

I'm never that far away. I depend on the OT and Faux News for a daily dose of levity in my life.

          Cheers. - Frank

P.S. I would have been around more but it's a known fact that frequent forum posting is just one more way that Ebola is spread - and that's a fact!
