If anyone likes dogs this is an obedience competition. The Collie falters, the German Shepherd does it perfectly then the Golden Retriever, well, just is a Golden Retriever...

  • Pretty funny. She should have bought my ebook on training, huh? That dog doesn't give a rip what that chick wants. LOL.

    • I thought it was excellent, it's the way he picked that cuddly toy up all excited, threw it away and then methodically began stuffing all the available food down. It's the way at the end he was constantly looking back in the hope of having to have another go.

I think the show was in Ukraine Dan. He's there a lot now.

  • Seems about right.

The real question is how did they get Putin to referee the contest?
  • Hehehe.

Some of the bounding big breeds are like vacuum cleaners. My ex's dog - a black Lab - would most likely have tried to devour the bowls and plates as well.

My old dog Bud scoffed at anything but the best cuts of meat and Wall's sausages. As a red-blooded, unneutered male Jack Russell from a farm family and our first dog, we couldn't train him to save our lives. He'd have shagged all the women dotted around the course before making off for the nearest rat or rabbit hole.

  • Seems like the perfect representation of his breed.
  • I trained my last few guys not to eat food that I didn't give them...unless they asked first.

I got Blitz when he was a year old. He never did anything wrong until one day I had put a chicken in a pot on the oven and realized I was missing an ingredient so ran to the store just a few minutes from home, was back in less than 10 minutes and went back to the pot on the stove and there was no chicken in it. I went to the fridge thinking that I had been distracted and put it back. No chicken. Then I went to the sink -- and looked over at Blitz and he belched real hard. I "got" it. I asked him if he ate the chicken and he scrunched up all guilty and belched again. Couldn't believe it. Bones and all - it was just gone.
