PETA, serial killer of adoptable pets, has about as much moral credibility on animal rights as Ted Bundy would on human rights.

That's scary. And another reason for guns. I'd definitely shoot to kill if someone was after my dog. Dogs aren't like other animals - their brains have morphed to human contact, understanding, and socialization. They are family. Period.

That's nothing new from PeTA. They don't run animal shelters. They're goal is to eliminate pet ownership. Years ago, they were caught red handed killing and dumping the bodies in a dumpster of dogs that had been surrendered to them by people who thought they were going to a shelter. They are an animal rights organization as opposed to an animal welfare organization, and there's a pretty big difference in that philosophy.

That's quite true. They've always been the public front arm of ALF, which is a bonafide terrorist organization. Some of their funds have gone for the legal defense of ALF members who have killed people in their AR terrorism activities.

The mentality behind PETA is the same as that of serial killer nurses who imagine they're doing good charitable work killing patients. It is a sick organization and its followers who shiver nude in public, covered in fake blood, are making fools of themselves. Most are clueless about PETA exterminating adoptable pets. Some, upon hearing about it, will rationalize it, as culf members do upon hearing about abuses committed by their leaders, but others become disgusted at being conned and abused by hypocrites.

The philosophy behind "no pet ownership" is ridiculous. No one could ever convince me that my dog doesn't absolutely love being owned by me. He is spoiled rotten and the notion that he would prefer to out in the wild, exposed to predators, parasites, disease, weather and starvation are ridiculous.

Not all pet owners are responsible, but there are law and humane organizations set up to handle that.

Yeah. It's a dog. You're a graphics expert. Could you resize the photos before posting so it doesn't skew the forum? And did you have a point in posting a pic of a dog. I'm certain that most here know what they look like.

So that blind people can hate them as well.

Then maybe try posting something useful, informative and relevant to the topic. Just saying.

WOW! People, ethical, and treatment, are ALL redefined words! So they might as well name their organization "ANIMALS".

As for criminal intent? Sneaking around, on others property, prepared to catch pets. Sounds like criminal intent to me. MANY in trailer parks likely have pets. They protect, and are like friends. People in trailer parks pay for temporary ownership of a plot of land, resources, and security. HERE, it sounds like they didn't get ANY of that.

Peta seems to think that dogs are enslaved by their owners. They've obviously never watched my dogs and I together. My dogs have told me just as much about where we are and whats going on as I do them. Wilderness requires a team, not an owner and servant. They wouldn't get that.

As I stressed, dogs are not your average "pet". They've been domesticated so long, and have served so many purposes that their brains have actually morphed toward understanding human sociology and language. They work better in a pack of humans than they do in packs of dogs - and prefer to be packed with humans. Dogs, when given a choice will pack with humans before other dogs - unlike wolf hybrids who will pack with other dogs/wolves when given a choice.

Since their brain's hard-wiring has actually made the dog human pack animals, it's actually cruel to take them from their human pack. Peta might think that these animals should be wild or dead - but that's 1700's thinking formed from ignorance of the animals themselves. Dogs actually should have stronger rights because of their mental adaptation into human pack. People need to understand that, and they need to understand that when you adopt a dog, it's family. You don't throw it out because it's too high maintenance, or sick, or, god forbid, because you're moving and can't find the home you want that will allow your pet - find the right place or rent something less than you hoped for until you can - you can't logically justify throwing out a dog any more than a kid because of a "landlord" problem. It's scathing cruelty.

Peta needs to be shut down. Period. Any time I find out someone is donating to those terrorists, I give them a very quick education about the organization and urge them to buy dog food for a local no kill shelter instead.

I cannot think of ever hearing a GOOD story about PETA. Of course if they do anything good it probably would not make the news.

I can remember many BAD stories about them. They do not make sense and they are not the friend of pet owners.
